Excellent. Great, great buy
Ok so this one was a bit of a mixed bag at first. Out of the box I had some annoyances. The advertised car and human detection was kind of there but in a very poor way. The alarms were annoying and simplistic. I could not get the high quality stream to work right. I was unable to pair it with my NVR. Just overall annoyed and thought it was all a marketing scam. Then I discovered that there is a firmware update. Oh my. Am I happy with these cameras now. The picture quality is excellent for the price point. The function set is second to none (at this price point). The app thing really works, its not just a badly made afterthought with bad English. The whole concept is good enough that you really could just buy this with no NVR, put in a decent size flash disk and you have your monitoring sorted. Its just awesome. I have a lot of cams. None of them come anywhere close to this brand. This is pure value for money. I am replacing all of my cams with this.

Rock Stable
These cameras were easy to configure and have been rock-stable network devices. I have had them installed outside for about 45 days. It is still spring in the Carolina Low Country, so no extreme weather yet. As we go through the 90+ degree summer days to very cool winter, I will report on the cameras’ reliability. So far, they have worked well with the Reolink iphone app and allow both my wife and I to run the app simultaneously on each phone. Once logged in, the app opens a view immediately every time. Since I am using a Reolink video doorbell, all the cameras show up in one place, with very minimal time lag to seeing the image.I am using an independent brand DVR for central monitoring and recording. The Reolink cameras are working very well with that.I am pleased with the image quality and angle of view. Each of these is mounted under an eve and are aimed to allow the width of the image to view from almost right below the camera to the opposite end of the house. The IR is sufficient for illuminating this distance; about 60 feet. The 4k resolution allows plenty of detail when enlarging a portion of the picture.Recommended.

Good 4K cameras
I like the simple install and ease of adjustment. The quality during the day is awesome. If you are looking to grab license plates-it does fine 20â or less. When you zoom in the image gets grainy. I thought with 4K it would be a little better at the plates. The night vision is very acceptable. Especially with in view of the infrared. If you need more vision turn on an outside light and it may switch to color. There is brightness adjustments that do help in seeing an area that may be dark due to shadows or sun hitting it directly.

So far so good
Easy I already had older POE from amazon 2mp tmezon their extensions no longer supported and I figured to close my house DMZ no more NMS client back haul to supplied ISPSo I bought the 2 pack (great deal) I’ll buy 2 more either on prime day or black Friday..Anyway easy setup Install scan QR code and bam you’ve remote access.. Added them to my browser (you can find IP from app) going to get the SD cards for movement hard copy eventually I’ll get the 8 ch NVR..these are great cameras and I like to set things up myself (network engineer) but jeez this was simple my 10yr old could have managed with a drill and Iphone.. Highly recommend upgrade or new.. FYI only works with thier NVR is what it is .. so you pay 20$ more for a drive.. easy of setup worth it .. Ill let you know about night vision tonight…

Customer service is terrible with Reolink
I have no less than 25 Reolink cameras. Most only have lasted a year or less. This RLC 811A lasted just 6 months before it would no longer focus. I had some time during the holidays so i set out to try to get some support. After many hours on hold i get disconnected. I then try the support chat that was just as disappointing. They asked for a video of the camera making the grinding sound when trying to focus. I take the camera down off of the house and hook it up to my POE switch and record the video of the gears grinding as it tries to focus. I send the video to them and the say they cant see the video.
