Apple AirPods Pro – 1st Gen (Renewed)

I hate Apple…but I love these buds!
Apple has annoyed me from the earliest days of the personal computer. I have a couple of iPads because there was no alternative for a specific use I have for them. However, I generally resent Apple’s control over all aspects of their products, and I especially resent their corporate abuse of the world, from abandoning American manufacturing to their profiteering from the sweat of enslaved people in China.Now that I have that off my chest, I have to say that after trying countless alternatives, there is no real competition. The noise cancellation is amazing. The first few days I was using them, I shocked myself by pulling one out of my ear and suddenly being swamped by ambient noises that went away as soon as I put it back.The sound fidelity is vastly superior to anything else I’ve used. It’s not always pleasant however, as they reveal noises in some of my recordings that I was blissfully unaware of before! On the plus side, the imaging and depth of music is far beyond anything I’ve experienced.The battery life and ease of charging is again superior to anything else I’ve tried. For the last few years I used a popular alternative, and I cursed every time I had to try and retry everything I could think of to get the charging pins to make contact with both earbuds. With the AirPods, I simply drop the mic end into the charging box and in short order they are back to 100%.People I talk with over the phone notice the difference too. So, evidently, the mics are way better than the other buds I’ve used.I bought them “renewed”, I.e. returned, because I resisted giving Apple the full price. If I knew what I do now, I might have untied my cheap fingers and sprung for the full price. Oh well.

Product Arrived DEFECTIVE!
I’m quite familiar with this product, as these are my 7th pair. (My job causes me to lose/ leave my airpods all the time.)However, this is the first time I’ve ever purchased a used/refurbished/ renewed pair. But since I lose them all the time, I thought it may be a cost effective option for me. Unfortunately, my device was defective out of the box!**Story Time**My Airpods Pro didn’t come with all of the materials that come in the original box and the charger I received [packaged separately] was not even an apple brand. This didn’t bother me much, as I have more than enough accessories for this item.The device itself appeared clean and undamaged. When I opened the device to check the battery status, it was dead [Apple has a policy of not sending their devices fully charged for shipping safety reasons, so I assumed the previous owner received the item new and returned them without charging it more].I connected the airpods to my OFFICIAL Apple charger from a previous device and the battery light immediately glowed green. Confused, I then proceeded to pair it to my phone. The first attempt was successful. I checked my battery notification screen on my iPhone and the airpods case displayed a full 100% charge, yet the airpods themselves were each dead at 1%. After a few seconds of charge, they reached 7% [charging speed rare, but not completely unheard of], so I took the case off the charger and went to test out the sound quality.As soon as I took an earpiece out- the entire device went off. The case and pods still read as charging on my phone even though I had removed them from charging moments before. I could not find the devise in my drop menu, so I went into settings to manually pair the AirPods again- but they wouldn’t sync. After 4/5 times connecting and forgetting device, I attempted to reattach the charger- NOW the AirPods case is on 0% but the earpieces are both on 13% 🙄. As soon as I plug them back in, the airpods sync again and I am able to hear the pairing chime on my earpiece. SECONDS LATER the airpods die and the phone shows they are on 0% *charging* WHILE they are still in my ears!Like I said, I’ve had a ton of airpods, I know how to troubleshoot most any problem they give me. I’ve never had to deal with this kind of headache before- ESPECIALLY on day 1. I’m so over it! I’m going to an Apple store first thing in the morning. This was a horrible experience.

Left ear pod would not charge or connect.
Left side would not work, but Amazon replaced and it works like new.

Good price for the air pod pros and they work just as good as new

Había leído un mix de opiniones, buenas y malas y estuve a punto de inclinarme por unos totalmente nuevos pero al final terminé comprando estos renovados y la verdad es que estoy impresionado positivamente:• Primera impresión y desempaquetado: vinieron en caja original de Apple con instructivos y accesorios originales (cable de carga y los ear tips) empaquetados tal y como vienen en un producto nuevo. El estuche de carga no estaba envuelto pero si en perfecto estado, sin rayones, cada AirPod venía sin señales de uso y totalmente limpios.• Experiencia de uso: conexión inmediata y estable con mi iPhone, sonido excelente, sin ruidos. Buena duración de la batería en reproducción de música y en llamadas. Probé los modos de ANC y transparencia y funcionan así como también lo de Audio Espacial y la verdad puedo decir que mi experiencia fue wow!Los recomiendo 100% de verdad que se ven y funcionan como un producto nuevo y pues el ahorro vs unos nuevos es bastante significativo.

Recibí los auriculares hace menos de un mes. No los use mucho hasta un viaje que acabo de terminar. Uno de los auriculares tiene un corto y con cualquier movimiento se corta el sonido. En el mismo auricular se descarga la batería en la mitad de tiempo que el otro. Por lo visto no puedes regresar el producto defectuoso. Te ponen en contacto con Apple para resolver el problema. Ya les comentaré si puedo devolverlos.Amazon accepto un re-embolson así que estoy cambiando el rating a 5 estrellas por la buena atención al cliente.
