Great at removing fuzzy and exfoliating!
My husband got this for me about a year ago and my college age daughter kept borrowing it. It removes fuzz easily and takes all the dry skin with it. My skin is really sensitive so if I press too hard, Iâm left with red patch marks on my face. I like the way my skin feels after using this and the blades really last longer than what they say.

Stopped working
I delayed giving my honest review. I was quite disappointed with this device. I used this device probably 5 times are so and It stopped working. Unsure if the charging cord malfunction or the tool it self. I had it plugged in and charged for 30mins. Thinking that would be enough for a full battery charge. After the 30mins charge I go to use it nothing happened. I took extra care of this device making sure it was stored properly in a dry place.. I used this device gently never aggressive with it. This derma planning device is quite expensive for parts to fail. I am giving it two thumbs down for the lack of longevity uses. The device does what it says it does so thatâs a plus. It was great at removing little fuzzy facial hair on my cheeks but other then that it is a really expensive electric face shaver . Save your money and purchase the manual derma planing face razor from Walmart or target. You will save a tone of money. Also, the replacement cartridges for this device are expensive too! Overall this was a poor decision purchase on my part. Would not recommend putting this in your cart or save for later to look at, just skip it. Look elsewhere for cheaper and better options.

My Dermaflash arrived quickly and was brand new. I had no issues with open packaging, or any signs the product was anything but brand new. Iâm happy with this product. I use it every 2-3 months.It does not nick or cut you. The blade is sharp enough to remove the peach fuzz on your face and it will also exfoliate the top layer. For me, the added benefit is that it also shaves off or opens up some of the little bumps Iâm prone to get, so I like that.Iâm in my 50s, but I still have oily skin and I have thick skin that can handle exfoliation and exfoliation is an important part of my skin-care regime, so this product complements that.I think if you have very sensitive or thin, dry skin, this might not be the right product.However if your skin is like mine, or just normal or combo, I think you wonât have any negative reaction.The vibration is gentle at both settings and low-noise. Itâs cool to see that layer of peach fuzz come off just like in the video and if you have any trouble just go to their website at dermaflash.com because there are video tutorials on their home page.Itâs very easy to use and, for me, keeps me hair-free for about 4 weeks before I have to do it again, but sometimes I wait longer.Itâs not going to do anything miraculous, but it does a nice job exfoliating and, if youâre acne-prone, not having that layer of hair attracting and holding particles onto your face helps keep your skin clearer and your make up goes on nicer.Iâd like to also try waxing all the hair off my face at a salon just to compare, but I still plan to use this product.I took the time to write this review because I honestly canât believe that some of these really bad reviews are for real?They seem absurd and I wonder if they are planted by sellers with competing products? I canât see why Dermaflash wouldnât replace the product if thereâs a problem.I would recommend buying this product based on my positive experience.

I really like the way this works. I use hormone replacement and started to get facial hair. This works great. The only down side is you have to buy the replacement heads. They are expensive and only come with the lotion. I cannot use the lotion because I have sensitive skin and it burns my face. I also wish you could buy more than 4 or 8 heads at a time.

This is my very first Amazon review after making Amazon purchases for years. I have an autoimmune disease that causes my hair to fall out. The medication that I use encourages hair growth on my scalp as well as on my face. I have tried many different things for my excessive facial hair, including cream that burned my skin. Once I tried the Luxe Plus DermaFlash, my life changed. It was so worth the price! I’m able to exfolliate facial hair so easily and completely now. My skin looks so smooth and fresh now that I seldom wear makeup on a daily basis. It is definitely worth the money! I tried all of the lower priced products trying to take care of the problem, but nothing worked until now. This is one splurge that was totally worth it!

WORST DEVICE EVER
Boy if I could give zero I surely would! For 200 dollars this device design falls so short it is shameful. More shameful is I didn’t try it until the return window was closed. Don’t make my mistake! Here’s the rub:The blade only goes in one direction so your non dominant hand will not be able to use this upright and will need to flip it and go blind on the other side. Even so, It barely derma-blades as well as the CVS drug store cheap plastic wands and its 200 dollars! Don’t buy this item as I am certain there are better choices our there.

For what it is, this is very expensive but if you can afford it it’s worth it (I paid just under £100 on sale which i think is more reasonable). It’s nice and slim to hold, easy to use, and you don’t really need the specific pre-cleanser and post-moisturiser. It’s obviously perfect at getting rid of facial hair, particularly “peach fuzz”, but it’s not just used for that. In general it makes the skin much smoother. I find the texture on my forehead much improved when I use this although I don’t know how you would cope with it if you suffered from severe texture such as acne (although it doesn’t aggravate my rosacea). I think the cost of replacement blades is expensive but I’ve used one twice with good effect – just clean it thoroughly after use. My skin feels so much smoother, my makeup sits better, and my skincare is definitely working better as my face looks much more hydrated. I haven’t used it excessively as I don’t need to (no, your hair doesn’t grow back any thicker after use) but every time I do I realise just what a great purchase it is. One star knocked off just for the price!EDIT: it seems only one of the 4 supplied blades works so I am in contact with the seller and Dermaflash direct for help. Certainly it seems to be a common problem according to other reviews elsewhere. I doubt it’s down to the seller, but check all blades work when you get the product as the money back guarantee is time limited. I will keep this review updated.

I watched a few you tube reviews and how to’s, I started gently and did little strokes, my skin feels really nice, and although I am in my 50s I did not have that much peach fuzz, more like the odd long hair lol!! I did worry as I don’t have lovely perfect skin either, I have a few little scars, and a few bumps under the skin, but it still worked very well. I also cheated as I didn’t really have much to do, and used my lysol spray to clean the bladed after, I know you’re not supposed to, but I took it off the machine first and then did it and popped it back on lol!! I’m in my 50’s and wanted to do something about the peach fuzz. I’ve tried salon dermaplaning once before and loved it, but the cost is too huge to do regularly. So I decided to take the plunge and order the DermaFlash for at home dermaplaning. I followed the instructions which are really easy. (I also have a magnifying mirror on a stand. Recommend that – makes it easier.) The results are instant and amazing. My skin is now super smooth, and the hair does not grow back fast or any different.Here are all the pluses:1. It’s super safe and easy2. It leaves your skin super smooth.3. Moisturisers etc go right into your skin so your skin really is younger looking and glowing, instantly.4. So I’ve used it for 3 weeks now. The first week I didn’t notice a ton of hair or skin coming off. Then I realized it works best if done from right to left. I’ve joined visible differences in my skin tone and my scars. I have no facial hair. I love it. I do it once a week. I’m a lifetime customer!
