Best toy ever!
Our dog & two cats love this gadget! We found freeze dried salmon treats to use for cats & dogs. They love to wait for one to trigger the toy, then they all three race to get the treat. One cat has learned to simply sit by the dispenser & wait for her compadre to trigger the treat release! We’ve used it outside & watched these three race back & forth for treats. We have to limit use, or they would eat way too many treats. 100% recommend.

Yesssss!!! Get it!!
My Rosie is a blue heeler/mini Aussie mix (we dna tested her). Sheâs spoiled so of course she had to have this! Now this is how she eats her food. I only fill it with her dog food. She loves it. Sheâs very active so this keeps her busy. And if itâs empty she will all but jump on the button then come look at me. Was easy to set up. I taught her by keeping on pushing the button base towards her til any part touched the button. Then yelled Yes which is our cue word when she gets something right. I had already taught her in a similar fashion to push a door bell to ask to go outside to potty. I gotta say the batteries in the base button has held up well. 2 months of using it most of the day, daily. I did take it with us one day so I plugged the dispenser into a battery pack and that worked just fine too. It plugs into usb. Easy.

Loved it, broke quickly
Bought for high energy dog. He figured it out quickly but also figured out if we didn’t secure the button down it was more efficient to bring the button to the dispenser and hit and eat over and over again. Once we secured it he must have gotten a little to aggressive and it stopped working.

Amazing enrichment for the dog
This treat/food dispenser is a great option for high energy dogs. I usually use it in the winter when we can’t play outside as much. It only took a day or two to train my heeler mix how to use it. My dog slams the button hard but it has held up so far! The batteries have lasted well and the button has good noise and connectivity. My only complaint is that the options to hold down the button (suction cup and stake) don’t really work if you have an overly enthusiastic dog.

Great IF it works
UPDATE: since it was working as pleased I didnât use it for a while. I was frustrated now it doesnât even wants to shut on. Switched batteries, tried electric plug in but the machine wonât go on!I was initially excited to acquire the PetGeek as a professional dog trainer. I intended to use it for enrichment purposes for my clients’ dogs as well as my own, serving as training rewards that don’t solely come from me. However, I encountered several issues with the device. Firstly, it often malfunctions, either dispensing no treats or too many at once, which can discourage the dog from continuing to engage with it. Additionally, the absence of a remote control poses a challenge, especially when shaping specific behaviors. Without the option to manually trigger treat release, it’s difficult to teach the dog to interact with the machine. Furthermore, the inability to disable the tone can be problematic for noise-sensitive dogs or when the desired behavior hasn’t been established yet. Overall, while the concept is promising, the PetGeek falls short due to these issues frustrating the learner, in my opinion.

Works great with my food guarding dog
I originally bought this to try other feeding methods for my dog. He was upset/stressed with his bowl. So I would put this device in a hallway away from everyone. And he gets a fun little game of walking back and forth. This device also stops his gulping and throwing up food since you can control its output. Trust me I tried a lot of slow feeders. The biggest improvement I notice is his tail isnât between his legs any more and is wagging in the hallway. All I want if for him is to feel safe and comfortable around his bowl. The only thing that I donât like is how hard it is to fit food in the device, my pup is a large breed so kibble has a high miss ratio. And I wish it could hold more than a 1 cup and about 1/3.

Ball Broke After 1 Month
âï¸âï¸âââI really wanted to love the PETGEEK Automatic Dog Treat Dispenser with Button, and at first, I did. I had one for each of my dogs and they were obsessed with it and figured it out so fastâit was so much fun to watch! But then the ball broke in less than a month in BOTH of the dispensers that I purchased, and now the whole thing is basically useless. Super frustrating because my dog loved it, and I had high hopes. I canât use it without the ball, so Iâm giving it 2 stars. Great idea, but the durability needs serious improvement.

SO COOL!
My grumpy old man dog would have nothing to do with it, but a chipper black lab puppy was so down! Extended into different rooms⦠though this brilliant animal would bring it back for quicker bites.

This worked a few times but has now stopped working. The button to activate the system gets very hot when on, and also the battery cover just comes off exposing loose batteries to your pet. I canât believe this item is allowed to be sold and now the seller has gone awol with no chance of return. Avoid!!!!!
