too much sugar
I know it’s only 2g but I feel like there should be 0g added sugar in gummies. If that’s what you need to add in order to make it palatable, you’re doing something wrong. These are shaped like bears, which also makes them prone to sticking together, which makes it a pain to get them out of the bottle once you can’t reach them by poking a finger in. They taste good, and I’m sure they would minus the sugar as well. I know the personal benefits of chlorophyll outweigh any negatives I might encounter.

I have been taking Spirulina for years, but I never really liked the taste. These 2500 mg Spirulina gummies taste awesome and are so easy to take.The daily dose of 2 gummies gives you not only the benefit of Spirulina but also Sea Moss, Chlorophyll, Vitamins, and GLA in a non-GMO, Gluten-Free formula. Each bottle contains 60 gummies, enough for a 30-day supply, and at a price that is right in line with what you would expect at either a vitamin shop or big box store.

A very tasty way to incorporate spirulina!
These surprised me. I take spirulina normally and it usually comes in pressed tablets that taste like fish food. These have an awesome apple flavor and actually pack more spirulina than my usual supplement. I will definitely be getting these again.

Taste great, but sugar added
While researching spirulina, I learned packed it’s with protein, supports immunity, and is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. It also is a source of vitamins B1, B2. B3, E, K, and fatty acids. It can also support heart health, cholesterol, and blood pressure. So, I wanted to try this supplement in this easy to take form.I noticed on the nutritional label that 2 grams of sugar are added for each 2-gummy serving size. That’s roughly a half teaspoon of sugar I can do without everyday since it can work against the beneficial properties of this supplement. Also, I’d like to know what the vegan-alternative gelatin is made of. One of the ingredients is sea moss from which an extract can be made and used as a thickener, but it’s not clear that is the case in this supplement. Also, what about flavoring ingredients used? The apple taste is great, but makes me wonder what other additives may not be listed on the label.The total list of ingredients may be fine, but I’d like to be certain of what I’m ingesting. Also, I can do without all sources of added sugar in my diet. I’ll likely seek another source of spirulina to try.
