Perfect Replacement
This remote operates the exact same as the the OEM one it replaced. Including the ability to control the TV Volume and input (IR). It is a near perfect clone as far as look an feel as well but you can tell the difference if you put them side by side, but there is not much. I have been using it for almost 2 months with no issues.

It’s easy to pair and it works just as good as the original remote control. I am glad there is aftermarket for this as I need to replace my old one since the clicking is not responsive anymore.

Ok replacement
For whatever reason our household goes through these remotes like candy. Even the OEM google remotes seem to only last about 1 year before they just stop working.While it looks identical to the OEM remote, the buttons feel different, not in a bad way, they are more rubber-y. And the buttons are more click-y, as opposed to the mushy feeling of the OEM. That I like.Pairing was easy enough, and the device list does say its a Chromecast remote. It paired quickly and is working fine. Universal TV functions like volume are working too.I like how this comes with basic instructions for pairing. I personally did not know that you can use the button on the Chromecast to start pairing and select a device, kudos for that!My only irk with this is the light on the front, it does not look like the original, its a fuzzy, large and odd looking light. And when you first put in the batteries, which they do not provide, the light does not come on to tell you it has power.Overall, since the OEM remote is the same price, and comes with batteries. I would not recommend this. Typically when you buy 3rd party you should be getting a similar item at a better cost. That’s not the case here.
