great for 6 & 8 year old
These were perfect for our family trip to Cancun. They didnt get wet at all to my surprise. There were also games on them so my kids were entertained on an hour long car ride playing with them. I uploaded the pics and videos to my computer and they’re all not the BEST quality but it was nice to see the trip through their eyes, and especially sweet hearing the commentary on videos they took. The only thing I didn’t like was that the date is permanently time stamped on the pictures, we bought 2 cameras and set the date on one but not the other, so the wrong date is on many pictures. I’m not sure if there’s a way to remove it or not, so up close pictures may be hindered by the large date on there.

I bought this because I wanted a camera to be able to take underwater pics on vacation and this was a very inexpensive option. I was very pleasantly surprised by it. The date/time wouldn’t stay set properly but the picture quality was decent. This would be an amazing camera for kids (as it’s actually intended).

Cheaply made camera that doesn’t work
I would open and check these as soon as they are delivered-one of ours was broke when we opened it, and we were too far outside of the return window to do anything, not that we would have exchanged it, we would have returned it. We bought two of these, when they went on sale, thinking it was a good idea. Wish we wouldn’t have!The camera that wasn’t broke upon opening, didn’t work with the water proof case. The case buttons didn’t line up with the actually camera buttons, so you can’t use the water proof case.You also can’t use the safety strap if you have the water proof case on.The picture/video quality isn’t good at all-it’s super blurry. The games are fun-but you could easily find a handheld gaming device that would be sufficient and have more game options.Would not buy again or recommend to others to buy!! Shop around or buy a disposable water proof camera from CVS/walgreens!
