    I would buy this again.
I didn’t have a lot of expectations when I ordered this. My dog needed a cone and I needed something that was cheap, shipped in a day, and would work well enough until I could take him somewhere and fit him properly.I don’t need to. This collar works very well. My pup is currently the saddest boy, but he’s not licking the hot spot on his hind end and that’s what I care about. It came rolled very tight, so if you can I would fix it inside out and let it sit for a few hours, but with multiple days of use it it’s relaxed and doesn’t collapse in on itself as much. I was worried because there didn’t seem to be any holes in it that would allow me to attach it to his collar as we’ve had with previous e collars. It doesn’t need any. When the collar is fitted correctly he can’t pull it off. It’s just soft enough that it collapses in on it self when he tries to get it between his front paws and push it off.The plastic used is heavy duty. He’s scratched the cone and rammed it into all kinds of things and it bounced back. The Velcro is heavy duty. His long fur tends to be murder on Velcro but even after several days of use it’s holding strong. If you have a long bodied or long snouted dog (mine is a basset/pointer mix) I recommend sizing up because of length. If I don’t get the collar just right he can wiggle it around a tiny bit and still manage to lick the spot on his butt.

    Best Cone Ever
My 110lb German Shepherd has really bad allergies. When he gets a flare up, he can tear his face & ears up in a day. It can take a week or so to get the itching under control. After he smashed apart several other (expensive & heavy-duty) cones from the vet, I looked for other options. I bought this cone as an extra, extra back up.Best investment ever. It has lasted over a year AND as you can see from the picture, he did not go easy on it. He gets very frustrated and will literally smash his cone into walls, furniture, trees, etc to remove it.This cone has held fast. It doesn’t even require attachment to a collar! I was so impressed. I highly recommend this product.

    Amazing but not perfect
Absolutely love this cone. Have tried two others before this and they were too long and made it hard for her to walk around and do normal things. This one is the perfect size, however wished the others fit. It’s a pit annoying you buy three but only 1 fits.As you can see in the photo, it gets dirty in the inside where the Valero is and it’s extremely hard to clean. I’ve washed and scrubbed it twice and it’s still stinky and dirty. The Velcro is perfect tho for ease of use. She has another that has buttons and it’s difficult to put on and break off easy.

Poor Quality, Inaccurate Sizing, Served Its Purpose
I don’t like this cone, but it wasn’t my first pick either and I needed one ASAP for my pup. It had the soonest arrival time, but the sizing is off. I got the XL because, first of all, I didn’t need three cones for one dog but I also read people complaining that the cones were too short and the XL was deeper. I get the benefit of getting three and being able to size up or down, but you’re also paying more to get those three instead of one. I measured my dog and he was in the lower range for the XL, but still well within it. Luckily he has a big head because this would have fallen off a million times if he didn’t and it ended up sitting down closer to his chest (a couple inches below his collar) because his neck (the part I measured and confirmed this should fit before ordering) was way too small for it.Aside from that, it’s also WAY too deep. I measured from his collar to the edge of his chin before ordering (I needed one that would cover his full head because his injury was on his chin) and confirmed this size should be the perfect depth. Surprise, it wasn’t. The poor boy was swamped in this thing and ran into every door frame and table leg. I was worried he wouldn’t be able to eat or drink with it on, but he figured it out.Additionally, this cone is made of generic, foggy plastic so they can’t see through it at all and have no peripheral vision (part of why he ran into anything and everything with it on). Every time he hit something there was a new blemish on the plastic so it was clearly not going to last much longer than the two weeks we needed it for (ideally I’d like to keep a cone on hand for the future, but I won’t be keeping this one). ALSO (and this is a BIG issue for me because it could be potentially dangerous), the design is awful because the cone overlaps itself if you need to have it on a tighter setting and leaves a flap of plastic that is not secured down inside the cone. When my dog was crated with this on (near the end of his two weeks) he was able to chew that flap and the plastic broke down into pieces super easily. Luckily he didn’t swallow any, but some of those pieces were pretty sharp so if he had we could have been making an emergency vet visit. We ended up cutting the two week period short by a couple days because of this.So overall, ya it did its job. He could wear it all day, it covered his chin so he couldn’t get to it, he healed up nicely, but I was itching to take it off of him as soon as possible because it was obnoxiously oversized, potentially dangerous, and falling apart. Their measurements are WAY off and their quality is subpar.

I was very skeptical at first since I was used to cones having the loops for strapping to the collar. This didn’t have it but the velcro was very strong and was able to attach no problem around our dog’s neck. Although after a couple days it was not as tight as I’d like but my hound might be just between sizes. Satisfied.

This is Buffy wearing the medium sized collar from the 3-pc SMALL set. She weighs 6lbs and has needed to wear a cone due to scratching her eye until it bleeds (allergies). This is her second ecollar from this brand but only because her last one turned out to be too short and she was still able to hook her foot around it to scratch and was able to scratch her eye on blankets and furniture (little fart lol)Although we appreciate the fact yhe seller offers a three piece set for only a few dollars more now, my reason for giving 4 stars only are:1. the fabric edge gets stinky over time and is a pain to clean constantly in order to keep eye injuries clean. (Tip: use a seam ripper to remove it from the edge)2. The sticker gets gunky with food n water and is difficult to remove without leaving residue behind (Tip: Use a blow dryer on high heat/low setting and point at sticker while peeling off slowly, if any spots left after getting sticker off just use the sticker to get off (the way you’d use a sticky lint roller to remove hair) weird but it works.3. Buffys last collar ended up needing to have the velcro reinforced as it started separating after awhile. I used clear thread and a strong thimble to hand sew it into place, so Im half expecting to have to do the same with this newer one too.Final tip: if you’re trying to prevent scratching to the face like Buffy, make sure to get a collar that goes at least an inch and half or so past their nose. (And yes, Buffy can still eat, drink and pick treats off the floor with her newer medium sized collar).

Fits my German Shepherd well. Was a bit worried after reading the comments but it is a perfect size for her (XXL), she is just over 90lbs. I like that it’s easy to get on and off with the velcro. She has been wearing it over a month now and it is still as good as new. Maybe she is just not as destructive as the other commenters dogs.

This has wasted days of recovery it’s not long enough and to flimsy / weak. The dog can easily take it off by walking forward into a wall the cone makes contact with the wall and the dog just needs to push and the Velcro pops off. My dog has taken it off by just running and accidentally hitting the side of a wall with the cone. Also my dog can lick her front, back paws / back end because the front of the cone is not long enough just in a bad shape in general so this was a complete waste of money and time and I wish I did not buy it to save my dog recovery time. I tried to use it for 3 days and all of those marks are on the cone from the dog bending it and popping it off.
