Works for a man
This is not for every man but my facial hair is extremely sparce and scraggly. I prefer this over shaving since the result is very smooth and I only have to use it every 3 or 4 days.

Basically itâs ripping the hairs straight out – ouch! Fortunately the pain is tolerable, and the results are quite nice (super smooth skin) but I can absolutely see how this product would cause irritation of the skin.

Not painful and fast!
I love this product. After the first use or two I didn’t have to use it every day like I had to shave every day. I use it on my upper lip and chin. I have also used it on my arm hair. Not as painful as some claim. Just a momentary sting. And it if faster than if you had to pluck each hair. Instead of pain for each hair you tweeze it’s one brief twinge and multiple hair are gone!

That’s what I get for trying to be nice and get my wife something nice… She typically shaves with a razor. So I thought getting something like this would be great for her. I thought wrong. I guess neither one of us realized that “Epilator” means “remove from the root”. So she tried it and immediately backed away from it. “It didn’t work, and it really hurt.” those were her exact words.

Stings a little the first few times
This little Epilator is really nice.It says in the instructions that it can sting if you have not used an epilator in awhile or ever, and it definitely does.It may take a few times using it for your skin to adjust to the process, but it produces excellent results.Smooth skin for days.I want to point out that for some people who might have neuropathy in their legs, this may be too much for them, as my wife discovered.It is not anything wrong with the epilator, just a caution for others.This thing is pretty quiet all things considered, even on the higher speed.It works really well, removing most fine hair in a single pass.For longer hair it says to shave first and then wait a few days for new fine hair to show and then start epilating.This brings me to the next feature, the shaver head.It is easy to swap out the heads, to go from one to the other, and the shaving head is very effective, and easy to use.I really, really like the fact you can clean it under running water, as using the fine little brush that comes with it is quite a chore.It charges up in just an hour or so, and then lasts for quite some time.This is a really nice product from a good brand.Definitely worth the investment.
