Anti-Collision lights for my Ultralight
From the stellar boxing and packaging, to the quality and function, the Symik Drone Strobe lights are amazing. I recently purchased and tested out the 3 pack, 3-n-1 lights that I added to my Kasperwing Ultralight and was pleasantly surprised by how much brighter these were than a wired strobe I had mounted on another Ultralight.Although the mode function allows me to set wingtip colors to green or red, I just went with the bright white strobe setting for all three. I mounted one on the front and the other two at each wingtip.I cannot claim that the lights are visible from 3 miles away per FAA regulations as my test flight was done just as the sun was beginning to set. However, an observer on the ground said they could easily see at least one of the lights when I was approximately 1 mile plus out…and this is in the daylight! How long the rechargeable batteries will last has yet to be determined, but there was plenty of power left after testing for two hours. Recharging is simple with the USB C cable too. They are easy to operate, using one button for on/off and for cycling through the different modes and colors. They are compact in size, but have an amazing amount of output. As several reviewers have stated: Don’t look directly at the light up close. Of course, that’s the first thing I did when I initially powered one on. Let me reiterate: Do not look at the light up close!!! I am still seeing little white flashes of light when I close my eyes, hah!Symik has thoughtfully included both 3M double-sided tape as well as the 3M self-mating Dual Lok (similar to the concept of hook and loop) product for mounting options. I used the Dual Lok so I could pop the lights off to charge them at my workstation.Other than going with expensive, wired strobe lights that sometimes interfere with radio transmissions, the reasonably priced Symik strobe lights will allow me to fly the additional 1/2 hour before sunrise til 1/2 hour after sunset. And, for the usual 2 hour flights, these strobes have more than enough charge on them to last and then some.I highly recommend the Symik Drone Strobe lights, so much so that I just ordered another set!Update: I still rate these Symik Drone Strobe Lights 5/5. A fellow pilot said he could easily see the lights flashing from about a mile out, in broad daylight.Update 10/21/24: I’m still rating these a 5/5 and ordered another 3 units (larger ones).

bright and flexible
These are really bright flexible drone anti collision lights. I have all 3 on my Air3s. They come with command strip like velcro that you attach to the drone so that you can stick them on and take them off. They also come with double sided mounting tape for non-removable option. The nicest thing about them is that they are 3 color. You press and hold a button to turn them on and then cycle through the flashing options. Each of them can be white, green or red. So put the big white one on top, then make the left side red and right side green. That way you know how your drone is flying at night by what color you see. Charges via USB C.

Great product, but not for all drones
Nice and bright, smallish, and handy. I think I prefer standard hook-and-loop Velcro because it has a lower profile but what is provided will *definitely* hold the strobes on, no matter the conditions, probably even during a violent crash. It should be noted that these work best on larger drones because you have to have a certain space in which to mount them. Note also that if your drone is “249 grams”, then just the stickers will put it up to 250 or 251 and your drone will be legally over registration threshold even if the strobes aren’t on it and it most definitely will be if they are. Please keep this in mind so you can stay compliant. Also, while these can help extend visibility, it’s still “line of sight” so make sure to keep an eye on your drone so you don’t fly it somewhere you shouldn’t or get it too far away.If you intend to mount one on the bottom of your drone to help YOU see it too, if your drone doesn’t have tall enough legs, you won’t be able to do that. So these lights are best for larger drones. I do like the fact that I can pick white, green, or red strobes, although I’m not sure the “long” option for them is useful. Usually white or red is your best option and I typically choose red.

Very bright, but doesn’t work with DJI Mini 2
Well made strobes, extremely bright, however they don’t work well with a DJI Mini 2. They’re too heavy for the Mini 2. I got a message from the drone stating extra payload detected. It wouldn’t let me fly any higher than 75-90ft and speed was greatly affected. I tried only using the two small ones, but got the same message and performance issues. On sport mode I was only able to reach 19mph instead of the usual 34mph. They may work well with larger drones. I would try them again if I upgrade to a bigger one.

Fantastic!
I really like these lights. I primarily use the green flash mode because it is the most visible, at least from the ground. The bug one is crazy bright, and holds a charge really well! I secure the light to my drone with 3M wall hanging strips. Definitely recommend!

Work great on the DJI Mini 4 Pro
I picked these up to use on my DJI Mini 4 Pro for nighttime flights. The included 3M velcro strips work perfectly to attach them when necessary, and remove them when not needed. The velcro does make it a little harder to fully collapse the drone into its folded configuration for storage, but removing a little bit of the velcro for clearance using a hobby knife is all it takes to fix that issue.

Just get the big one.
The big one is the only one thatâs worth it. I wish they had a constant on function. The little ones would be better as a constant on.

I am flying a DJI Mini 3 Pro, so these are quite big and brings the drone over the 250g so not really ideal. But I wanted something that would help me see the drone better in daylight and it is helpful but not perfect. But that is probably more to do with my expectations and needsOtherwise well packed, quick charge and good usage.
