Amazing, Love It, Worth the pain
Ok, so I get waxes in sensitive areas, but I was looking for something for my face. I hate waxing, shaving doesn’t last long enough and the hair removal creams suck and burn my face. I got this after reading so many reviews and google searches for something with wax results I can do at home. First time I used it was a couple of days after shaving since it was recommended to have the hair low. It snatched all the hair off my face. It stings, yes. But if you wax, I think you should be able to handle it. My face hasn’t been this smooth since before I started growing hair on my face. Once the hair is off, going over that spot will not sting because the hair is gone. I am waiting to see how long it takes to grow back and using a hair inhibitor oil to prevent it from growing back. So far, I love it. Exfoliate, trim first if the hair is not already low, and you should be alright.

Was not expecting to love this.
I am old enough to remember the Epilady from the 1980s. It was awful. This is not that! I bought it because itâs Braun, and their quality is usually good. I bought it specifically for all the extra hair that we ladies get over the age of 50. And itâs working great! I recommend exfoliating before you use it, and also experiment with which angles itâs going to work best on for which hairs. The light feature is very helpful. I use it probably every 3-5 days because Iâm still trying to weed out the hair, and itâs awesome to have smooth skin again instead of always feeling stubbly.Iâve used it on face, chin, neck, and knees. Itâs more painful in some areas than others, but it just hurts for a second and is worth it. I know some have recommended chilling the area with ice first, and I can see how that would help, but I havenât felt like I needed to try it yet.

Great for thin small hairs
This is only very painful when using it on thicker bigger hairs. I’d never use this on my face and probably not my legs, ouch!I haven’t yet tried it on my legs but I do think these things are meant for fine smaller hairs like your arms, back, stomach or butt LOL wherever you have those small fine hairs.I hope to use it on my legs because my showers would take less time LOL Anyway I bought this for the areas of my body that have those types of hairs and I love it! Good product and does not hurt at all.

Love this.. Will never go back to razors, tweezers, waxing and the stress that comes with facial hair! My chin and lower jaw are now clear of the red marks caused by plucking and using razors. Iâve even started using it on my upper lip, which is for me the most uncomfortable feeling of all the other areas. But, the pay off is absolutely worth the discomfort. Smooth upper lip!My advice is to first use on the outside of the calves , then move to the inside, which is more sensitive. Then start with the face. Jaw line and chin then above the lip, just know that the upper lip is very sensitive and yes, perhaps painful. The pain is quick and doesnât linger.Iâve read many reviews by those quitting after using one time due to pain. The key here is to use it on less sensitive areas first, such as the lower legs. Give this time and the reward will be worth it. Enjoy and remember, you donât have to use it on all areas. Youâve got this!

It works really well on short hair but the hair on my legs was pretty long and it didnât work at all well.

Changing my review. Upon actually looking at my legs all this thing actually does is break hairs instead of plucking them put by the root as it says on box.Better of shaving or waxing at this rate.

Had a Braun epilator before….Had it for several years and finally broke down. Bought this one which is similar to what I previously had. I like the fact that it can be used in or out of the shower.

Honestly I wish I kept the packaging and gave up on it sooner. After a month of trying it different ways I have to use it every other day. I think it grabs the hair, pulls it, and then breaks it without actually removing it from the root. Not very effective and kinda a waste of $70 and I might as well shave.
