Easy to set up and wonderful functionality
I was skeptical when I ordered these plugs but they work perfectly. Just plug it in your socket and then plug the lamp cord into it. Very easy to set up and the remote lets you use three lamps. Both of our bedside lamps are using it now and we love being able to just use the remote to turn them off and on.

Pretty good despite some design flaws
As the other reviews say, the pros are that overall it works. I use it at night to hit the lights when I turn off the couch.Cons are that the remote needs a pretty clear line of sight to the target, and that for no good reason at all the outlet is a ridiculous shape that blocks everything else you want to plug in there.Been using them for about 4 months without breaking.

the plugs are labeled with a number!
…this may seem obvious to more tech wizards but I did not really see any note of that important fact in the little instruction booklet and had a little frustrating time figuring out why the lamp would not respond to the remote once plugged in. Turns out it was plug #3 and I was pressing remote button #1 not knowing they were labeled on the back (upper left corner). So save yourself some grey hair and look what the number is 🙂 Other than that truly nice and a piece of cake to install!

It works!!!
Loved them. My husband is on a walker and stays downstairs. We have the stairway wrapped with greens and white lights, the fireplace decorated with swags, white lights and the Christmas tree lite in front of three windows. I go upstairs to sleep and go to bed before Joe. When he’s ready to go to bed, all he has to do is push the buttons on the Syantek Remote and put the lights out. I used to have to flick a power bar switch on the floor to turn various Christmas lights on and off, but no more. A great addition. The transmitter is light weight and controls the remote outlets well. A good purchase at a good price. It will come in handy throughout the year.
