    Magical!
This stuff is magical! I just moved to a new apartment and my cat did not appreciate it. She would hide during the day and as soon as I would lay down to sleep, she would wander the apartment and meow constantly. For hours & hours all night long. I’m a lite sleeper so I didn’t get much rest at all. I expected her to need some time to adjust but I had no idea how long. Days? Weeks? Months? A friend told me about this stuff and I was desperate to try anything. When it arrived, I plugged it in immediately. That night she was so much better! She still got up, wandered & meowed but not nearly as much. And by night 2 with it in use, she was completely fine. She may have wandered but she was quiet and I was able to sleep. From what I understand in researching the product, it doesn’t work on all cats and it can take weeks to work. But For my cat, it worked great and super fast!

Exact same ingredient as Feliway and works just as well for skittish or anxious cats.
I originally bought this for a very scared new kitten I’d gotten years ago. I tried every trick I’d learned to help a new kitten adjust to a new home and new owners but nothing was working. She was so scared, I couldn’t get her to come out from under the bed. So, I decided to try this because a veterinarian recommended it to me. It is a synthetic pheromone that mimics the pheromone that new cat mothers release in order to keep their newborn kittens calm and safe while they nurse and sleep. I didn’t have much faith in this, at first, but was willing to give it a try. I was told it could take up to 2 weeks and should be plugged in the room the cat is in most often. It doesn’t affect humans and we can’t smell it. I continued to lay on the floor and talk to her as she hid under my bed, made eye contact with her, would reach my hand out to her and even sing to her. Nothing. By day 4 with Comfort Zone plugged in two different outlets in my bedroom, I heard her start to purr as I talked to her. Then, I put my hand out and she slowly sniffed it. Eventually, I had her rubbing her face against my hand, which means she’s marking me with her scent; an honor coming from a cat. Little by little, I noticed a bunch of changes from her coming out from under the bed during the night time to eat by the window, rather than eating under the bed, walking around the room in curiosity about what different things there were to smell and climb and then came the biggest change which I began to fear may never happen: She jumped up on my bed and slept at my feet. After that, I knew that with time she’d be the affectionate kitty I knew she wanted to be. The poor thing was just so overtaken by fear and anxiety that she wasn’t able to do anything about it until she felt safe enough. That was my first experience with this amazing product. I’ve used it for many cats for a variety of different issues, most recently being, my 4 year old Burmilla cat bullying my 2 year old Burmese cat. I’ve plugged two in for them. One is in my bedroom, where my younger cat hides from the bully cat and the other is plugged into the outlet near the cat tree downstairs, where my lovely but bully kitty tends to hangout. These have been plugged in for a week and a half now and there have been a lot less fights, my younger cat has gained some confidence and leaves my bedroom during the day for small periods of time, here and there. My older cat isn’t stalking the younger one as much and seems to be less pent up with urges to attack something or someone. It’s hard to know how much is time, work on the owner’s part and how much is from this pheromone but given the number of times I’ve used it and there has been some change, though neither drastic nor complete personality change, it’s enough behavioral change to give me belief that it definitely plays a beneficial role in most cats’ progress.

    Works but leaves a mess
This works , I definitely noticed my cat being calmer. However for the wall plug in versions , they leave a nasty grease spot above where you plug them in.

    Messy
We introduced a new cat to our home. The vet suggested a product like this to help ease the transition with our cat we already had. It stated to take up to a week to see improvement. I can’t say it worked however it made a mess of my wall where I had it plugged in. There’s no odor however I had streaks of oil on my wall, and a picture frame that hung above the outlet. It was also all over the plug in. I have no idea why this happened. I unplugged it. Not worth the money.

Helps to turn it the right way
I can’t believe how many bad reviews show it placed upside down 😆😆The wick has to be in the solution for it to work.I can say that it got my cat’s attention right away! Hoping it will calm down over-grooming (and excessive hairballs)

    working
The Comfort Zone Cat Calming Diffuser is designed to reduce stress-related behaviors in cats, such as scratching and marking, by releasing a calming pheromone. It’s easy to use—just plug it in, and it starts working. Many users report a noticeable improvement in their cats’ behavior within weeks. However, effectiveness can vary between cats, and the refills can be pricey. Overall, it’s a good option for households with anxious or multi-cat environments.

Calmer kitty within a couple hours
This stuff was just the thing we need to finally get our kitty settled into our new space! We had moved the week before and our cat was doing okay but he was meowing a lot more than usual, eating extra, hiding more, and just over all not at ease. It had only been a week though so we were going to wait it out, until one night he was up ALL NIGHT, a complete reset. At this point i knew we needed extra help, and i saw these mentioned on reddit and man they work wonders! Within in a fews hours of plugging it in my cat was chill, laying in our bed, and even slept through the whole night without demanding attention at 4am!**All of this to say my cat had normal behavior, but it was abnormal for him.

You are reading the comments because you’re wondering if this really works. This is an expensive product and you want to know if it’s worth the investment. I can honestly tell you that it’s on my repeat-purchase list because it does work and it’s worth the money. When our male cat was three years old, we thought he needed a friend as he was an only-cat and we imagined he must be lonely. So when the opportunity arose to welcome an adorable new kitten into the family, we jumped at the chance. But he couldn’t stand the obnoxious, perhaps overly-cute and certainly precocious new kitten. She tried. She tried tenaciously. And now, thirteen years on, and they still just can’t get along. Enter Comfort Zone. It’s no love potion, granted, but it keeps them calm and at least disinterested in playing battle-cats. We find it especially helpful in situations of high anxiety such as holidays, when we have a lot of people over, or when we go away. I wish we didn’t need it, but I’m glad something like this exists.

Usei o produto na adaptação do meu 4° gato. Posso dizer que vi diferença no comportamento de dois, apenas um que demorou mais para aceitar o novinho. 75% de eficiência é um pouco triste pelo valor.

I have had some serious issues with this product, which i wont go in to as i Dont believe that is fair to the vendors. They provided great support though, and were very quick to want to resolve the issues.
