Bright, Vibrant Smart LEDs
I bought these bulbs to replace standard iridescent PAR38 flood lamps in a pair of American DJ (ADJ) flood lighting fixtures. The previous bulbs were dim, very hot even after just one minute of use, and had a narrow cone of light, more like a spotlight than a proper flood light. They were very inefficient and could only output warm white light; the housing of the flood light was designed to accept colored gel screens to add colors to the light, further reducing their efficiency as this dims the light even more (also needed to be changed manually to change light color). I replaced the PAR38 iridescent bulbs with these BR30 smart LEDs, which was a huge upgrade. These bulbs are much brighter, but they burn very cool so the housing doesn’t even get warm, they can automatically change colors at an adjustable speed, and the bulbs have a significantly wider angle of lighting at the same time, which actually makes the flood light housing glow the same color as the bulb (it looks very cool, before was plain and boring). The light is dispersed evenly and is much brighter than the previous bulbs. I haven’t tested the range that they are effective for, but they are brighter than I expected and 2 of these would be great to fill a small dance floor or stage with light. They were relatively easy to set up and control with my smartphone and wifi, and I synced their outputs so they change color at the same time. They seem like they are well made and built to last for years, and they arrived undamaged. Very happy with my purchase, they are well worth what I paid for the upgrade, and they are cheaper and brighter than other smart LED bulbs I saw. Thanks KHSUIN! Great product

Nice smart lights
These are very easy to setup and get on to your network. They plug right into alexa and then you can control them from anywhere.Negative is that the color lighting is very dim. I would not recommend these at all for color as the light output is a quarter of the standard light. I just leave these on default and just ignore the color section entirely because of this.

Just got them installed so I canât say how long they last but it was super easy to set up in the app and they look so amazing.Edit: still amazing color, but dropping a star for connectivity. Two of them have a mind of their own and donât always follow the schedule because they go offline.

I was looking for a brighter option than Hue bulbs and I found these. Back when I got them, they had better reviews. I can undertand why the score has gone down since then. I originally liked these so much that I bought a bunch more to do several rooms in my house. They integrate well with both Google and Alexa and they are much brighter than other brands that I’ve tried. My problem, the failure rate. I have had these about a year and I’ve lost about 20% of the bulbs to total failure. When you’re paying $70 for four of them, that is a problem. But, these bulbs will work great one day and then all of a sudden be completely unresponsive to the network and the app. I’ve tried everything but it seems that they are just dead once this happens. It is very frustrating to lose so many of these in such a short amount of time. If i were you, I’d research more reliable options and steer clear of these.

These lights are so cool, but didn’t work for me. Avoid my disappointment. I ordered 9 of these bulbs to replace the recessed lighting bulbs in my kitchen. All of them were flashing like strobe lights when I screwed them in and flipped the switch on (and I’m not referring to the “set up” mode when they flash on and off when ready to connect). A+ rating for the seller who worked back and forth with me to try to resolve the problem. Turns out these bulbs won’t work for me because all of my recessed lights are controlled by dimmer switches. The variation in the voltage from using the dimmer switch destroys the smart bulbs. Use the app, or Alexa to dim your smart lights. Replace your dimmer switches with standard switches before installing these bulbs.

One of the best bulbs you’ve never heard of
These lights may not be a household name but they do work effectively and pretty seamlessly with Alexa. Previously I had Cree lights installed and they did not work well at all. These lights connect through the Smart Life app and then via a skill on Alexa and they work very well. The lights have a full and robust color range and are fairly bright. They are kind of expensive due to the full color range but so far I have found the bulbs worth it.

Bad enough they need their own App, but you needs to learn their programming language to dim the lights.You have to read the box to find out how to pair them. It’s not in the included instructionsBluetooth AND WiFi? Pick one. Pick Bluetooth.You have to have multiple steps to pick colors,, and create ridiculous scene sets to control multiple lights.if they weren’t the only 150 Watt equivalents in this style I would return them.I WON’T be buying more.iLC Smart Light Bulb are easy to use with a simple app. Too bad THEY don’t have 150watt equivalent floods.Avoid these unless like me, you have 40 years experience with computers.NEEDLESSLY COMPLEX!

Amazing Value
This light is very bright and is great as the single light for your whole bedroom, or a small to medium sized living room. This light has very good color quality as well and has a great color range for the white temperature, warm to cool. The color quality is also very good for all the colors of the rainbow. It also works very well with google home, which is what I use for the light along side a smart led light strip. This beats Philips hue for value for money for any of their products in comparison.
