These beds are fantastic!
Bought one for a feral cat shelter and the cat stays on it all the time when it is cold. Decided to get one for my indoor cat and he loves it too. He’s constantly flipping over on it to warm the other side. These are well made and reasonably priced. I do find the cover a little rough so laid a piece of flannel cloth over it to soften the bed.

Continuous heat only; lacks weight sensor and unsuitable for outdoor use
I chose this heating pad because the product description claimed it had a weight sensor that would activate the heat when a pet was on it and turn it off when the pet left. However, after testing, it’s clear this pad functions as a regular on/off heating pad with no weight sensor. This means it remains heated continuously, even when the pet is not on it, potentially wasting energy.The description also states it’s suitable for outdoor use, such as in dog houses, but this is misleading. The on/off switch is not waterproof, making it unsuitable for outdoor environments or exposure to the elements.Additionally, the pad is quite thin, and I can feel the heating wire through it more than with other pet pads I’ve used. While this isn’t an issue since I planned to place it over a thicker pet mattress, it’s essential not to use it on overly soft surfaces to avoid dangerous folding, which could be a fire risk.On the positive side, the 17.6″x15.75″ pad is a good size for a cat, and the cord is fully covered with an anti-biting tube—an excellent safety feature. The set also includes two covers, which is very convenient, allowing one cover to be laundered while a clean one is placed on the pad.Since I intended this pad for warming outdoor feral cats, I’ll instead use it indoors for my own cat. Without weight sensing, I’ll need to manually turn the pad off when my cat isn’t on it to save energy and for safety, which is less convenient.For health safety, I feel it’s worth mentioning that heating pads and blankets emit EM radiation, which can be a concern. Therefore, it’s best to use these only as low-wattage, emergency heating options on the coldest days rather than relying on them daily throughout winter.Overall, this product could benefit from some improvements, along with an updated and accurate product description.

Simple to use, cats are happy with it on cool nights
This fits perfectly inside of a cat house that I keep on my covered porch.The paw print power switch is cute and I like the simplicity of just flipping the switch.It gets very warm and once turned on it stays on so it’s easy to set and forget.If there’s a power outage it’ll come back on by itself once power is restored, this is the main reason I prefer it over a programmable one.

Thick and durable
This heating pad is definitely more “child proof” or rather, kitten proof! It’s cord is VERY well protected and no amount of crazy kitten antics and chewing is going to get through that cord protector. The electric mat itself seems thicker/stronger and more protected than the average heating pad. I love all those things. It’s a little on the small side so my kiddos will just have to snuggle up. But that allows it to fit in more things too.
