Works very well
Works great for my new AirPod Max v2 with USB-C connector. Make sure to peel off the film on the bottom of the dock. The dock won’t stick to the desk until you do that. At first I thought the device was too light and required two hands to disconnect my AirPods. But then I realized there was a little film you must remove on the bottom. Once that is removed the device will suction to your desk somehow so it stays put very well. Then you can grab the AirPods with one hand… I also like the LED. It goes red whenever the AirPods are charging. This let’s you know the charger made a good connection…

Love this clean dock
I’m used to putting my headphones on a stand, but with these AirPods Max, they require charging it with a cable. This dock makes it easy to just sit in and charge without having to connect a cable. Just drop it in and it charges. Of course, there is a small adapter that plugs in to make it “wireless” charge, so you have to remove it if you are charging OTG. Otherwise anyone with AirPods Max should get this.

Great way to charge and you can use it as stand
This thing is sweet for the Airpods Max. The magnetic charge port works perfectly. No more charging with wires and also acts a stand on the work desk.

A great idea
Before I got this stand, Iâd mostly given up on using my AirPods Max because they were sooooo annoying to charge. The stand makes this easy, so I like it. A few things to note:(a) The way it works is thereâs a little tiny piece that gets inserted in the headphones like any charging cable would, and also connects magnetically to the stand. I tried connecting it to the stand and then inserting it into the headphones at first, and this did not really work. Then I read the instructions more carefully and I think youâre supposed to insert it into the headphones and then you can just set them on the stand without too much adjusting. This works great. You can even leave the little connector in while youâre using the headphones and they still work fine, so if this is the only place you charge them it is super super convenient. I havenât had the stand for very long though, so I canât really speak to whether this is bad for the headphones longterm or anything. But it works fine.(b) The bottom of the stand is sticky, so itâs hard to move around. It says this in the listing but I missed it before I ordered it, so I thought Iâd call attention to it.(c) The stand plugs into a USB-A port and not the wall. This is maybe vaguely implied in the listing but I missed it also. This wasnât a big deal for me but the included USB-C to USB-A cable is kind of short. But Iâm sure you could swap it out for a longer one if you needed to.

Be Careful Not to misplace the magnets!
Overall, I really like this stand, but I donât like the little pieces of magnet that go in the lightning port or the USB-C port because I think theyâre too easy to lose. But they do say not to turn the ear pads too much so putting them in the case a lot I think could damage the ribbons in them so the stand is probably better for them and may increase the longevity of them. So the only thing I would say is, if you buy it, be careful to not misplace the magnets as I removed one it came out flying but thankfully I found it! One other thing is lining up the magnet with the charging port of the stand is sometimes kind of tricky so make sure your device is charging when you put it on there donât just think it is. Because it might not be charging. With those couple caveats, I can still highly recommend this. I just had to come back and add another star! I reached out to the seller to see what kind of magnetic connectors they used so I could purchase backups in case of loss. The company arenât selling them yet so they graciously offered to send me a couple spares. I have both a Lightning APM and a USBC APM. The company is definitely 5 star for customer support!

Sturdy and useful AirPods Max Charger for desk
My wife uses her AirPods Max every day for work, and usually just used her normal charging cable, so I picked this up to make it easier to charge them at the end of each day. She’s been using it for a couple weeks now and loves it. It seems sturdy and well made, can work with the older and newer models (lightning or USB-C) and we’ve had zero issues with it. While it is too big to travel with, for anyone needing to charge them on a desk or similar, this is a great option.
