Functional and convenient
Relatively small but provides great coverage of our two story house. Nice to be able to hideout or placed vertically.

This does not include a digital picture frame
In case others also assumed this was a digital frame: nope. The frame is just meant to hide the device behind it.Only getting 100-140 mbps wireguard speeds max despite the advertised 190. But otherwise great product.

Interesting design to hide router with one issue…
So this is an interesting concept but the router requires ethernet and power so you would have to either run it through the walls or have the wires showing. Good router but photo frame is a bit of a gimmick.

Pretty useful router!
A true OpenWRT router. It’s nice having full control of my router with features I want.

Just okay OpenVPN speeds
Perfectly fine router but note that its OpenVPN (via Ethernet) Maximum speed is 30Mbps.

Solid router for home use and looks good hidden in the photo frame
This router pretty much does everything you’d need for a basic home setup. It works with gigabit internet, and has decent range. It’s not super-expensive either, so good value for what most people need from their router. The photo frame works surprisingly well for disguising it if you want it more out in the open. Might seem like a gimmick, but it can be useful in some setups!AdGuard is a nice option. It also works well from what I’ve tried so far, though I tend to block ads at the browser level anyway. But, no reason to see more ads than you need to!It doesn’t have many wired ethernet ports, but then, you probably don’t want too many wires around if you’re hiding it in a photo frame. It should be enough for most people.

A bit picky
This is a very nice and discrete router. However, the advanced setting can be a bit finicky and it’s wireless strength isn’t the greatest. Anything bigger than an apartment will need additional coverage.

I’ve been using GL.iNet devices for many years now, but mostly from their travel / mobile range. The Marble can also be used as a travel router, even though it’s quite bigger than the real travel routers. But in my case, I got 2 of these on sale (less than 50 EUR each) to install on my parents and my wife dad’s home. These are not high-end devices, but they still pack some pretty nice management features. Encrypted DNS, Tailscale, even Dual WAN! The range is good enough, much better than any ISP-provided router. Speeds are also good enough, I could easily saturate a 500Mbps connection from another room (around 15m away). The photo frame idea is fine, but I must say that the frame quality is pretty average. Still, if you plan to install the router in your living room, an ok-ish frame is still much better than any router with antennas exposed. The end result: I can now troubleshoot all my family’s network and device issues remotely, and I’m sure they won’t be bothered with ads any longer thanks to the built-in AdGuard / NextDNS support.

The GL.iNet GL-B3000 (Marble) WiFi 6 Router combines sleek design with powerful functionality, doubling as a wall-mountable photo frame. Its dual-band AX3000 offers fast and stable internet speeds, ideal for homes needing strong, reliable WiFi. With OpenVPN and WireGuard support, it provides secure browsing, while Bark and AdGuard Home parental controls give peace of mind for managing online content. Running on OpenWrt, it offers customisation for advanced users, and the three gigabit Ethernet ports allow for easy wired connections. A stylish, functional router that seamlessly blends into your home while delivering excellent performance.

This little gem flew under my radar and a fraction of the cost of my existing one which the manufacturer stopped providing updates early in its lifecycle. The unit is plastic but feels solid. The software surprised me – much better than others in my opinion – great for tinkering. Very happy with GL-iNet and this purchase and can’t wait for future releases.
