Works great, add a 2A USB charger block
Super easy. You’ll need a USB charger block, people suggest grabbing a 2A to make sure you have more than enough power – I grabbed one out of my tech box. The power goes into the OTG hub, the OTG hub plugs into the Onn where the old power cable went. And you don’t need more than the 100Mbps the Ethernet port will do, it’s more than enough for streaming unless you have some incredibly high bandwidth local files. So far it is working perfectly except we are getting a “Connected to Ethernet” notice in the top right corner every 20 minutes or so. This appears to be a bug introduced in a recent Android TV update, and is harmless. I just installed this yesterday, and am continuing to play with settings (wifi off, always scanning off, previous wifi network password Forgot) and if that doesn’t make the notification go away, hopefully a future update will fix it.

Better than I had hoped for.
I was only looking for the fast ethernet capabilities. I know, 100 Mbps is slow but since 4k only needs between 25 and 90 Mbps (depending on who you ask) 100 is more than fast enough.Add to that, this unit provides 3 USB A ports. I suspect USB ver 2? I bought a touchpad/mini keyboard wireless combo and when I plugged the dongle in this unit, my ONN branded Chromecast now has mouse and keyboard. No longer just messing with a clunky remote. Searches are so much easier with a keyboard.

Slow for Ethernet connection
SLOW!!! Firestick speed dropped from 290m on Wifi to 91 when connected to this item via Ethernet Cat 6 cable. I purchased this item to take Firestick off Wifi and connect with ethernet cable.

Stops being able to connect to ethernet
Worked well for 3-4 months then just stopped working and not able to connect. I can connect to Ethernet just fine with my Apple TV that has an Ethernet plug so cable and network are fine

Just what you need for a Raspberry Pi 0W
this adapter works great, adding USB A ports and an Ethernet port (100mb) and powers the Raspberry Pi 0W. Works great allowing 3 USB A ports to make the PI usable.

A decent OTG cable with a small caveat but pretty decent. See review
This is a pretty standard OTG adapter with a solid three port USB-A layout. I do like it a lot, it’s very well made with a hard ABS plastic. The only caveat or issue I would say is I wish it was self-powered or powered by the actual box itself like most OTG cables are as to where this one requires an extra power cord for it to work. This reason his becomes an issue is due to the way the Onn.streaming box whether the older or newer 2023 version (not the Onn. media stick) The power cannot be disconnected from the actual streaming device it is built in as a internal cord that goes directly to the power supply of the main board of the streaming device. That being said, there shouldn’t be a need to have an extra power supply just to power the OTG cable but that’s not really the fault of the cable itself in all fairness, that’s a design flaw in the streaming box itself. For those that own the streaming box know exactly what I’m talking about, it’s a little bit hard to explain via a review. However, the actual OTG cable itself works wonders as far as I can tell they’re all 3.0 compatible which is great. I expected 2.0, so I have faster data speeds or data transfer speeds I should say, and the cable is well made, it’s pretty straightforward and the three-port section of the cable itself not the power portion but the but the port section Is surprisingly solid for what is a pretty simple product. I definitely recommend it as this is the only option you really have to add storage or add any other additions like a mouse, keyboard, anything you would normally do with say a firestick or an Android media streaming box can now be done with the Onn. Streaming box with this cable. I would recommend it. It’s pretty much your only option and it does work very well.
