Perfect Blue!
I was really struggling on getting a natural ingredient with such a vibrant blue for my products – I tried all sorts of stuff! This was phenomenal and a little went a long way! Gave the perfect primary blue color for my herbal playdough alternative and the kids loved it. Did not stain and was easy to clean up if some was spilled.

Product from China.
The product is from China. I looked at the image provided on Amazon and the package I got. The image was modified to not have it say the source of the product Blue Spirulina. I was not successful in using the QR code on the Amazon website image or in person

Shockingly Blue Powder – Natural Food Coloring with Bonus Health Benefits
The Food to Live Organic Blue Spirulina Powder is a great supplement to add to your insta-worthy recipes. The powder is shockingly blue and will readily color whatever you’re eating to the same bright blue hue. I tried the powder in baking recipes, smoothies, and yogurt and found that it colored my snacks beautifully. Blue Spirulina also has many health benefits to it, so it may be worth adding to your diet to get some additional vitamins and nutrients. While I like the powder for the aesthetic reasons, I can’t say it offers a great flavor – definitely use the powder sparingly because if you add too much, your find your food will taste like the ocean in a bad way. If people say you can drink this powder with just water, they are lying – it will smell and taste like the beach at low tide. I found that mixing the powder with either stronger flavored foods or using it in savory applications where salty umami flavors are already present makes the powder much more palatable. Overall, it’s a good quality spirulina powder that’s worth trying if you’re looking to add more nutrients to your diet, or simply want to make an awesome-looking smoothie bowl to post on your insta page.

Super vibrant
I use blue spirulina powder to for cocktail concepts. This is super vibrant blue. Mixes great and doesn’t add flavor.

flavor?
the package says 1 serving is 2tbsp, that’s impossible! it’s overpowering for a 16 oz glass of water, it tastes gross, like salty with a mildly earthy/fishy kinda taste. I plan to just use this in food and not bother drinking it.

not reputable
where its made is unknown, so how can it be known its organic and safe?
