Great flavor, and good for baking
This is the first plant based protein powder Iâve bought, and I will say it was not disappointing like I had anticipated. While the powder is easier to spill and knock into the air (making a bit of a mess) than whey, the flavor is just shy of tasting like vanilla ice cream (in fat free greek yogurt)! Iâve also made protein muffins that turned out nicely. Spongey texture, so it doesnât get hard like whey protein!

iâve been using legion plant+ protein for over a year now and let me tell you, this does not have the weird protein texture or taste any other brands i have tried have. for the price, you get a good amount of servings and 25g of protein per scoop?! i use it in my home made protein pancakes, on its own or in smoothies and it is so good! clean ingredients, lots of protein and has helped me hit my protein goal each day 🙂

I love the Whey Protein, the Vegan is a miss
I have used legion for two years now and I love their whey protein product. It tastes great, super smooth instead of chalky, and it isnât filled with junk. I was trying to cut dairy from my diet so I tried the chocolate vegan protein, itâs absolutely undrinkable. My coworkers got a good laugh watching me try to chug this down while holding my nose and trying not to gag. I donât know what was worse for me, the taste or texture. I have tried more than once and I hate wasting things but I just canât force myself to make it through this bag. I will be swapping back to the regular whey.

Good but protein amount changed(?)
The first time I purchased this, about two months ago, I bought it directly from Legion but it was still shipped through Amazon. This time I decided to buy it through Amazon so I could get it more quickly. Everything was fine with the exception, and Iâm assuming Iâd have run into the same issue if Iâd ordered it directly through legion again, the amount of protein was less (albeit only by 1 gram). The issue is, the last bag I bought was 25g per 36.5g serving and itâs still advertised as 25g, but the bag I received shows it as 24g per 36.5g serving. It wouldnât be an issue if it were 24g but the oversight begs the question, what else hasnât been checked thoroughly and what is the actual amount of protein? Is it 25g or 24g, or less?Also, a note based on reviews saying itâs so thick. Back when I did drink animal based proteins, I used to drink casein many nights before bed. This is imo nowhere near as viscous as those. It is definitely thick but I never have to force it down like I sometimes did with some of the different casein I drank, flavors aside (although that did make things easier/harder).All that said, Iâd still give it 4 stars because itâs hard to find a decent plant based protein. And since itâs hard to get the protein I need after a workout while not upsetting my UC this has been rather helpful. The Dutch chocolate is quite rich, not overly sweet, but I do sometimes just had some instant dark roast coffee to cut that a little, or do half cold water and half almond milk to thin it out.

Okay – I can’t even begin to compare the quality and taste of Legion’s Plant Protein! I have tried many, many I mean manyyyyy vegan protein powders and have found one of two things:1. Great flavor but filled with so much junk, of course it tastes good2. Incredibly chalky and just nasty flavor and not enough protein.Legion Plant Protein has blown me away! My top two flavors are chocolate, mocha and okay actually, cinnamon too! The ingredients are definitely quality and have never upset my stomach and I suffer GI issues.10/10 highly recommend!

Excellent protein
This is by far the best plant protein Iâve used. Delicious and I can mix in any type of milk or even just water is fine. No bloating and itâs not gritty like you see with plant proteins.

Doesnât taste good, chalky texture
Iâve tried a lot of protein powders, but this has to be possibly the worst one Iâve had. It doesnât taste good and itâs super chalky! I can add it to anything and it completely changes the texture. Iâve had it four times, but Iâve had to FORCE myself to drink my protein shake. Iâm definitely not buying any more of this.
