Surprisingly effective – good for small dogs all over and for larger dogs more face/bottom/privates
First impressions: lightweight, comes with lots of accessories, it seems a little cheap and I wondered how it would cut and hold up.I was pleasantly surprised, it cut very well, super smooth and cut close but not too close. It was really lightweight and easy to maneuver. I only used it on the face, bottom and other private parts plus the feet. I did both dogs and it stayed sharp and charged. Our dogs are poodle mixes and about 60lbs with dense curly coats, I don’t plan on using it on the body but will definitely save it for the areas mentioned above. I think it would work perfectly for small dogs to use all over.

so far – I have not had any issues with this grooming set. It comes with the clippers and a whole bunch of other pieces. This items that I will use the most will be the clippers and the nail trimmer. The scissor are handy as well.The package arrives quickly and was packed nicely. The clippers came precharged, but included a charge cable. The set included guards, but the actual trimmer itself is adjustable as well. The is also a small trimmer head that works for trimming around paws. A cleaning brush and oil is also included with the set. The trimmer is a little louder than other ones that I have used, but it doesn’t seem to bother my animals.Over – for the price, this is a good set.

Nice OverAll Starter Hair Clipper Kit With Nail Cutters & Nail File & Scissors
This arrived from the vendor packaged in a cellophane generic cardboard box. It includes several sizes of depth guards, scissors, a nail file & trimmer, trimmer lube, a cleaning brush, a USB power cord & a brief instruction sheet.This is a budget friendly set with so many items most pet owners will need. They neglected to give a carrying bag or case, but you could manage it in a one gallon freezer bag or try to keep the original box intact.The scissors aren’t the greatest and similarly the nail file & nail cutter are basic, but they are useful especially if you don’t have anything else.You could basically take this kit with you when you travel with your pet & have touch up grooming tools all pre collected & on hand if you need them. You could trim while on a trip most animals that aren’t too big or have dense hair — which could be tedious with these trimmers as they are moderate strength as far as the motor.When we tested, it seemed to charge up easily left plugged in while we did other things for an hour or so. It easily could reach tight areas like trim up around ears, eyes, help get hair between toes & around privates. It is not a quick worker in dense hair but the trade off is it’s a light & easy to hold trimmer.We will likely use it supplementally after a more powerful trimmer does the main cutting. The trimmer oil & brush are usable with existing equipment & almost justifies the cost of this whole kit especially if you factor in extra scissors & the nail handling parts.This would be a good gift for a pet owner that has no existing grooming equipment who has a small regular hair animal. For us it has value to be able to pick up (this trimmer) & use it as a secondary lightweight trimmer for touch up around tight close areas, during our normal at home grooming sessions.
