Works well and is very easy to operate.
This product has worked great for me. Itâs easy to charge, easy to use, easy to attach and detach, doesnât damage the drone, and is also fun. Just attach the string by looping the small ring around the hook on the bottom of the unit, take off, and then when you are ready to drop just turn on the auxiliary light and it drops.

love this thing works great functions like it should build quality is nice too just remember to turn it off when not in use the rings it comes with are 8mm double jumper jewelry rings I bought a bunch of them and use fishing line and binder clips and can drop what I need to when I need to where I need to installation is super easy, easy to put on and take off quick even with one hand

Works surprisingly well
Not gonna lie, folks, I was skeptical.This ended up being purchased after some holiday shenanigans. My sisters and I airdropped my brother in law some holiday cookies while he was down the street watching the kid. Of course, we could only tie ribbon to a bag of cookies and attach it to the bottom of the drone leaving my poor bro to cut the string.However, this device has allowed the ability to airdrop confections with ease.It attaches extremely easy, and works with the simple press of a button to activate the light on the underside of the airframe. It seems pretty sturdy!What I will say is that long string is key here, as well as low altitude airdrops. If the string is too short, the rotor wash will basically blow whatever youâve got pretty far off target. The payload can also obstruct the sensors causing the drone to thing itâs close to an object.But, the kit comes with a nice long piece of string, so youâre good there! Happy droning!

It works but you should know that bright sunlight can cause a false trigger event. Good news is, I easily shielded the sensor with a piece of electrical tape. No further issues.

So Easy and No Remote Required to Release the Payload
I honestly can’t believe how easy this is to set up and use. You just have one screw you tighten to affix the airdrop system to the drone. Charge it up, turn it on, hook up your payload with the included rings and string, and take off. To activate the airdrop, you simply turn on your LED landing light. The benefit of this release mechanism is that your distance isn’t hampered by the range of the airdrop’s remote. It relies on DJI functionality to trigger the release mechanism. You can see in my video how the light isn’t on when taking off, but you can see it on after the cat toy drops. Cool stuff and works very well.

Fun gadget!
This is a fun little gadget. It’s brilliantly made, too. Easy to attach to your Mini 4. To drop, simply activate the landing light. Works great! See the video.It does add a bit to the rear height. See photo.Charge via USB. It does slide apart with some effort to break it down to fit better in your case. Company might not recommend that, though.100% recommend!
