Seller is terrible!
TV was amazing for almost 3 months, then it completely stopped working. The buyer obviously won’t do anything to help since I’m passed my return/replace window. So now I have a brand new TV that doesn’t work. I’m trying to work with TCL directly now to fix this. Seller SUCKS!!!!

A beautiful monster…
I recently acquired one of these TVs (65s405) from a friend in a non-working state… I did not buy this TV thru Amazon, just to clarify…I had to replace all the circuit boards within, and test the backlights with a tester that I DID buy thru Amazon… I got a REAL sense of accomplishment when I “turned the key”, and it lit up with the ROKU startup screen… I got a $700 Sooper Boob Toob for less than $100… Can’t beat them apples…This TV is so easy to setup and use, and the picture quality is excellent, in my opinion… I know there are nicer TVs out there, but this is the nicest I’ve ever owned…It has 100s of streaming channels to choose from, probably 1/2 pay and 1/2 free… That’s hooked direct to the Internet with an ethernet cable OR wireless thru either one of my routers, AND it’s also HDMI’d to my desktop computer with a MSI Radeon R9 380 video card… WHEW, talk about a huge GAMING monitor… No matter what I play or stream, this TV is a beautiful addition to my home… If I had $700, I would definitely buy one, as quick as I would recommend one to anybody looking…As for the remote control, I’m not impressed… It really is the most uncomfortable remote I’ve ever had… It’s all round on the bottom, and floats in your hand while pressing buttons… It has an aerodynamic curvy shape to it, which, I guess, will make it fly thru the air better when you decide to throw it… The volume/mute (3) buttons are on the right side, causing additional operational difficulty (<-- A $5 phrase)... The college-graduate-newbie-in-training that thought up this remote should be ... oh... I can't even think of anything right now... maybe... spanked, shot, reprimanded, fired, ridiculed, demoted to janitor... whatever... Just an uncomfortable remote control for me...And, to wrap it all up, I'll say that I am wrapping it all up... And, It's a wrap...GOOD DAY...

Roku has the Xfinity App, save on cable bill
This is a great inexpensive TV I have a 65 inch Sony also picture quality is noticeable. But for a drastic price difference I didnt expect it to compare. It works good enough for what I use it for

Picture quality is not as good as I thought it would be. The picture can also get glitchy sometimes actually happens pretty frequently.
