Strong and convenient

Excellent Magnetic Cup Holder Phone Mount
I’ve been on the search for a good phone holder for my Mercedes. I didn’t want to damage or stick anything permanent onto my car. Living in a hot environment suction cups and adhesives don’t tend to last long and there are not a lot of vent mounted options for my car. The cup holder was my best option.I had an older cup holder but it didn’t have the articulating arm and it sat really low. I saw this one and figured it would work well. I was not disappointed. Opening the package, everything was well though through. Included are instruction manual and 2 metal rings to attach to your phone case in the event that you need them.The metal ring adhered to the back of my Spigen phone case without any issues. I did warm up the ring with my heat gun lightly and cleaned the back of the phone case. Installing the cup holder is straight forward, turn the adjustment knob to fit the cup holder of my vehicle and adjust the arm. This phone holder is made solid and exceeded my expectations. My phone does not move at all and the magnetic mount is super strong. I will be buying another for my truck and would recommend.

Great Car Cup Phone Holder
I bought this phone holder to use for a specific trip we were taking in a rental vehicle, where I wouldn’t have my permanently dash mounted phone holder. This phone holder worked great! It was steady in the cup holder with the ability to adjust the base to fit any size cup holder. The arm held my phone up the whole time on our 5 day trip without loosening at all. My phone stayed exactly where I put it to start with. The magnet mount is solid, secure, and did a great job holding my phone on the mount regardless of the road conditions. We even drove through a bumpy camp ground and the phone stayed on the mount. I recommend this product, it works well.

Update review (1/5 stars): After a few weeks of light use, the connection between the bottom stem and the cupholder base has become loose/broken. Thus I changed from 5 stars to 1 stars. Looking at other reviews, this appears to have happened to a number of others.Original review (5/5 stars): The first important function is the device that you put in the cupholder and tighten. This works well to form a solid base that does not pull out or wiggle. The next important function is the magnetic connection to the phone. This works great – I have a solid connection. The third is that the adjustable parts of the stand can be moved, then tightened to hold a phone in one’s chosen position while bouncing around in the car while driving. This is also working well.
