Good Security Camera with Advanced Features
offers some great features, including 8MP dual-lens video that provides sharp and detailed footage. The 360° PTZ functionality is useful for covering large areas and minimizing blind spots, making it versatile for outdoor security needs. The motion detection works well, and the alerts are timely, though it occasionally picks up non-threatening movements. The integration with the Reolink app is smooth, but the app could use some improvements in layout and usability for a better user experience. The wired setup ensures a stable connection, but installation can be a bit tricky if you’re not experienced with security systems. The weatherproof design is a plus, ensuring durability in outdoor conditions.Overall, it’s a solid security camera with great video quality and useful features, though there’s room for some refinements. A good choice for those looking for reliable outdoor surveillance.

Great Camera for Easy Store Monitoring!
This camera is fantastic! Setup was super easy, and the app on my iPhone is very user-friendly. The 360-degree auto-tracking works perfectly, following any movement around my store, and the video quality is excellent, even at night. I also love that I can send voice messages through it to communicate with my staff.Overall, the video and sound quality are top-notch, and the whole system just feels reliable. Highly recommend this camera for anyone who needs simple and effective store monitoring!

    Almost perfect
I already had some older Reolink indoor cameras so decided to add an outdoor camera during the Prime Day sale, and it was worth the price. Setup was easy, installation was easy, auto tracking and two way communication was decent, and it’s loaded with extra features. I don’t know which impressed me more, the image quality or movement speed. The sample images I included speak for themselves, showing the wide angle to maximum zoom, IR night vision, and night color video with the spotlights (they are brighter than their size would let on!). We are use to the slow pan and tilt of the older indoor models we have. The pan and tilt speed on this one is adjustable for slow fine tuning but boy can it scoot! When moving between set points, it’ll move at full speed and is near instantaneous. Audio cuts out for a few seconds during movement, but that’s better than hearing the internal motors like on the other models. This camera is also beefy. I expected it to be lightweight similar to the indoor cameras, but it has a lot of weight to it. It all feels solid with no rattling or lose fitting parts. Even the SD card cover screws were quite secure from the factory. I had to use a cordless drill to get them loose enough to work with a regular screwdriver. The only big complaint I have about this is the power cord. It has just a barrel plug that connects the standard adaptor cable to the leader from the camera. 1) This really needs to be a solid connection from wall plug to camera to prevent someone from disconnecting it and killing the camera. 2) The standard length is too short. Yes they give you a long extension, but that doubles up the first issue of now potentially two unsecured connections. Ideally this should either be a hardline single connection from camera to wall plug, or at the very least make the hardline leader much longer to make it to a secured spot, like through a wall opening, before terminating to the barrel plug. Another option for those wanting a short leader would be to make it interchangeable where it plugs in inside the housing. That would allow either length option to be used.Another minor issue is they use visible red LED’s for IR vision. It’s not as many as some of their other cameras, which is a plus, but still a visible indicator of a camera being in use even when trying to tuck it away out of obvious sight. I would much rather it have true IR emitters not visible to the naked eye. I know those can still be picked up by something like a smartphone camera, but many bad actors still aren’t thinking of stuff like that. I can understand wanting a visual deterrent, but the camera already has a siren and spotlights that will serve that purpose for those that want them, plus a security sticker if you want to place it on your location. If it wasn’t for the power cord and IR emitter issues, this would be a solid 5 stars for the price. I was able to compensate for the power cord issue somewhat and don’t regret the purchase. I guess now the main concern is how it handles the weather long term, but I have it under an awning just so I’m not pushing my luck too much.

    Awesome!
Upgraded from night owl and OMG! I CANNOT get over the difference in absolutely every way! These are the BEST! Super easy to set up with the NVR, basically “plug and play” they automatically detect and connect when plugged into wall & ethernet for initial installation, takes about 1 minute to reconnect to NVR after the ethernet cable is disconnected. The cameras are a bit heavy but very sturdy. The come with all hardware you’ll need including extended DC cord to connect if needed. The picture is crystal clear, I enjoy watching the stars on a clear night with it, the zoom is great. The auto track is a game changer for sure! The spotlight is bright, the alarm is loud as well as the microphone. The NVR is super easy to navigate as well as the playback. I bought 3 cameras and the 2T NVR. Reolink has gone way above my expectations! Highly recommend!

    So good we have 4…
I like the TrackMix series. We now have two of the POE models and two of the WiFi models. In comparison to the 4K PTZ these are not as high of a resolution due to the zoom being a hybrid optical digital (not pure optical.) But for general surveillance, the combination of PTZ and high resolution makes this a great option at a decent price point. Human, pet, and vehicle detection and tracking works great!I expected the WiFi to be a little laggy compard to hardwired. Not so, they’re nearly indistinguishable. But occasionally, the image takes longer to depixalate after moving if the connection is a little weak. But with the two antennas, the signal is usually strong and stable. I have ours on 2.4GHz so I can’t comment on 5GHz usability.Connecting via the web is straightforward and rarely ever has any fails. A much better connection experience that the simply safe cams these have replaced. Picture quality and night vision is head and shoulders above. I don’t use or need the spot lights or alarm but these can be disabled. All in all, I’m happy with these and the other Reolink cameras we’ve purchased and will continue to buy more.Update: Jan 2024. I have move these two cameras to 5GHz WiFi. I’ve not noticed any change in the speed of responsiveness, loading times, nor image quality. So, from my experience… the WiFi version will serve you well.

This camera is truly amazing! My old ReoLink Argus was a great camera as well – it didn’t have pan/tilt/zoom, but was used at my lake lot to protect my property… and that it did! It effectively notified me of trespassers and warned them automatically through a custom siren that their presence had been reported. This caused them to leave. 6 other trailers had been broken into at the campground before the Reolink scared them off. That said, I decided to upgrade this year to this new pan/tilt/zoom camera with auto tracking. This camera is amazing. The video quality is top notch. It allows you to zoom in more than 40 feet on optical zoom and see a clear image. With zoom you’d be able to easily read a license plate number, even in the dark. The pan/tilt/zoom functions are great. You can control them manually, you can setup preset focal points (and preset the zoom level), you can setup a monitor point (the main area you wish to protect). It will automatically follow intruders and zoom in as they distance themselves or as they approach from a distance. The programmability of the camera is also second to none. You have the ability to set several different types of schedules. For instance, you can have a schedule for the auto tracking feature, a schedule for when it warns a person that they are on video, a schedule for recording video, and a schedule for when it notifies you on your phone. These features allow for a highly customizable set up.You can also set detection zones. This allows you to filter out areas of the video that you don’t want to get alerts about. This is helpful when you’re trying to protect and area and the camera can see beyond the space, catching cars or people that might be travelling past in the periphery.Another neat feature of this camera is that it gives the ability to tell you if the trigger event was caused by an automobile, a person or a pet. You can also use these features [automobile, person, pet] to decide when to record video or notify you. For example, you may only want to be notified if it’s a person, rather than if the car goes by or a cat or dog happens to go by.Set up of the camera is extremely easy. It sets up within minutes. Installation of hardware is relatively simple as well.I use my camera to protect my campsite. I have included photos and video to show the quality of image that can be obtained and to show some of the pan, tilt and zoom features. The beginning of the video shows manually adjusting the pan tilt in zoom (which I did using a slower pan setting), while the second half the video shows camera automatically going to a predetermined location. The video ends with it returning to its monitor point.
