Portable and rigid
I run around rural areas and take photos on the fly (see what I did there) of old farms and stuff. I don’t always have a perfectly flat surface for my launch pad. I have the fancy round pad that twists down into a little bag, but the problem is that it conforms to the contour of any surface I set it on. Those bumps can get in the way of the gimbal’s self-check and that sort of thing, so a rigid pad can work better in cases like that.This is rigid enough to provide a solid surface to take off and land, plus it folds down into a nice, compact package like the big, round launch pads. It’s got grommets on the corners in case you need to stake it down, but it lies nice and flat so I don’t know that I’ll ever need that.

Great Grass Landing Pad
This is a great landing pad for grass takeoffs. Remember for DJI drones when some of them take off the drone takes a picture and it uses that picture for RTH. The pad being there tightens the position if the drone has to return home.

Excellent choice if you are looking for a Heli or quad landing pad.Folds up easily for quick deployment and repacking.Highly visible from my DJI Mini 4 Pro.I like that the pad has some weight to it. My other pad is easily blown away by the wind.

Sturdier and higher quality than most drone pads
This pad is a lot sturdier and better made than most drone pads, which are often just a flimsy sheet of plastic fabric in a round wire frame. This pad has thickness and stiffness to it, so it will give you a nearly perfectly flat surface in almost any situation. (Though obviously it won’t make a sloping surface level, no pad could.) I’ve used it in tall grass, mud and snow, and it stayed flat every time. In spite of its rigidity and thickness, it still folds into a compact little bag, it doesn’t take up much space in my backpack, and while it’s a bit heavier than the flimsy pads it’s still pretty light. Visibility is great, dark background with bright orange print on one side, the opposite on the other side. Great pad.

Nice pad for the drone
If you use a drone is grassy areas, this makes it easier to lift off or land on so it doesn’t get grass in the blades. Very nice pad.
