Did I stumble upon the best kept secret in baby carriers?
Update!!I use this Every. Single. Day. It is without a doubt the best baby carrier I have ever tried. Breastfeeding is so easy! My baby is so comfortable even being over 18lbs! Highly highly recommend!I had my third and been looking for a new half buckle carrier. I’ve used the boppy carrier with my others and it’s been good to me but I needed one that would fit better my needs. The things I needed 1. Back and front carry 2 easy to use with minimal buckles (I hate buckles) 3 breastfeed ease and 4 sunshade. As an added bonus I wanted it to be pretty. And this carrier hits every wicket. To preface, I have done a lot of research on carriers and looked at all the big names (Sakura Bloom, happy baby, Wildbird, Artipoppe, ergo) but none of them were exactly what I wanted and all had some drawback that made them not worth the price. And then I stumbled upon this carrier, but there are basically no reviews on it! I decided it was worth a shot. Here is a review I hope others find helpful! The material: the fabric is strong but soft and breathable not to mention beautifu!! It is easy to get stains out of! My baby feels safe and secure in here. This carrier is also amazingly compact and easily fits when stuffing it into already full diaper bag!Front carry fit: there is a learning curve and I recommend watching the videos on how to adjust the carrier to fit your baby! It took about 15 minutes of playing around with it to understand it but now it is a breeze to put baby in the carrier! The buckle around my waist is higher and thicker than I expected but have come to prefer it to my old carrier! It is very comfortable with the padding and there is even padding where my babys legs come out of the carrier so there isn’t fabric digging into baby’s knees! My baby sits beautifully in here in the perfect position for the hips! The straps come with shoulder pads that I took out cuz I don’t think they’re necessary!*As a side note, with those with larger chests, I think this carrier would still allow you and baby to feel comfortable! Im a size DD breastfeeding and I don’t feel squished!Back/hip carry fit: I probably won’t use the hip carry option because I like being centered. And my baby is too small for back carry but will update when I can!Update: still haven’t used the hip carry and have only used the back carry a handful of times! It is useful when needed but front carry is the most comfortable for me!Breastfeeding: oh my word! It is SO EASY to breastfeed in here! I had no idea what I was missing all these years. It was effortless to get my baby to latch and we were both comfortable!!!Sunshade: one of the reasons I didn’t go with the happy baby, I wanted a sun shade. My old carrier didn’t have one and we are outside everyday and especially with summer it was a must! I like how the sunshade is just there so it is easy to flip it when you need it!Potential drawbacks:1. The newborn adjustment is weird. You have to roll the waist strap and then the buckle is on the inside and the padding is on the outside. Idk if that would be comfy – my baby is now too big to use it this way.2. No carring case. When back carrying you need an additional strap that goes across you chest (other carriers have a buckle here so I prefer this way), but this may be very easy to lose.3. Hard to get the right tightness. It gets easier the more you do it but it is one of those things you’ll fiddle with until you get it!4. No forward facing option. I seldom used this with my boppy so I don’t think it will be missed.5. The straps are long and if you are not used to dealing with straps you may get annoyed in which case you may prefer the other model with the buckles.(All I do -and what I always did with my boppy- is tuck the straps into the waist buckle so they don’t drag on the floor! This way when I need to take my baby out of the carrier, I can keep the carrier around me and then easily put the baby back into the carrier!)I do not know why there isn’t more chatter about this carrier. Maybe it’s a bigger deal in Norway but I feel like I have discovered the next best carrier. It fits my needs perfectly and is beautiful and the price is very reasonable!I am very happy I took a chance on this carrier!

Great carrier once you get used to it
I bought this carrier when I was pregnant and after baby was born I tried to use it. I wasnât used to it and I found the instructions to not be very helpful. I thought the long straps were complicated especially when baby would start screaming out in public and I had to get her out. I ended up tangled in a mess with the long straps dragging all over the floor. I packed this carrier back into the box and purchased a baby Bjorn mini carrier which I found to be far easier. As my baby grew bigger and heavier around 2 months I found the baby bjorn carrier to not be so comfortable anymore. I decided to give the stokke limas another shot and Iâm glad I did. I donât know if it was babyâs small size or my inexperience with wrap style carriers but I find it much easier to use now and I can get baby in and out easily without getting tangled, I can tuck the long straps into the waist belt to stop them dragging on the ground. This is the most comfortable carrier Iâve used, I love the spreadable shoulder straps and soft breathable material. It also looks great.
