This is the second generation of the TOP RC Hobby Spotter, just like before this is a micro 2 in 1 FPV camera and video transmitter. The Spotter V2 now comes in a hard exterior case and OSD function. The OSD will provide voltage data on your power pack. The video transmitter can operate on 40 different channels and will work with most popular FPV goggles on the market such as Fat Shark goggles. The 5.8GHz video transmission can transmit on either 20mw or 200mw. The Spotter V2 is not that much heavier than the V1 coming in at only 9 grams and has a very small footprint.

I go nothingâ¦update: itâs alive!!!
Plugged in power, got a red led but nothing on the receiver. Tried following the instructions for changing channels and go nowhere.Update: after further troubleshooting I discovered that pulling power from my RC Crawler wasnât providing enough power to the camera. So, I connected directly to the battery and I had video. The picture quality was great and it had decent range, too!!! I decided to keep!

Video quality
Poor video quality. Tired twisting the wires and keeping them as short as possible, but still breaks up. Disappointed.

I installed in the tail of a 64 MM RC F-16, I crashed for unrelated reason, The airplane spent a week in the woods before it was foundthe camera still works I was impressed.

Plastic case isn’t heat resistant
The case isn’t resistant to its own generated heat, so eventually the case starts to warp out of shape. Tried returning but it got lost in transit. Lost $50 basically :/

Great camera for the price!
This is a great little camera! I added it to a Hobbyzone AeroScout to make a simple FPV setup. Itâs simple to setup and operate. The instructions were pretty good, but could use some more work in the translation department.

Iâm doing a DIY fpv project and the camera transmitter combo is perfect. Great product for the price. (5 stars ifâ¦)My ONLY complaint is âguaranteed next dayâ turned into three days of âdelayedâ with no resolution.It did finally arrive, so there you have it

Range is horrible even on the highest power setting.It’s just signal noise after about 25 m.
