Wireless solar cameras are a revolution in consumer cameras. Even if you like a wired system, there are places in a property that are not cost efficient to wire, whether you use 120V or ethernet power. Get a solar camera and place it in that angle that can complement your systems. Or just make a system out of these cameras.This is a PTZ camera driven by AI. PTZ stands for pan (horizontal movements) , tilt (vertical movements) and zoom. The AI system acquires visual matches and follows them as they move around the property, keeping them on target. Matches can be specified in the app. Since this is based on an AI model, you can expect that the tracking and detection to improve over time. AI is still a new field where improvements happen at an exhilarating pace. Furthermore, the two way intercom allows for sound alerts and two way communications.The lens and sensor of the camera are high quality, providing a sharp image night and day, with the possibility of running the unit in color or black and white during the night. As with all photography, extra light is always an improvement, and you can combine the camera with your one spot lights. The camera has illuminators for night vision.Being a wireless camera, you have to provide a WIFI network. I recommend buying a 128GB microSD card and placing it in the camera to record all the clips. AOSU has an optional cloud program, but with the card you do not have to buy a subscription to their service. The camera comes with a complete install and mount kit (base, screws, templates and cables). Configuring the software is a breeze and the app is very nicely designed.Finally, I would say that the price performance ratio is excellent. I totally recommend the camera, either by itself or as a part of a security system with other AOSU cameras and doorbells.

Great outdoor solar powered security camera
Nothing to dislike with this camera. mounting is easy, and when you have sunshine keeping it charged is also easy. The camera app is easy to setup and use. You can set the preferences from the app or put the camera to sleep when it is raining because this camera has motion tracking which works awesome, but the rain will drive it crazy if it is a hard rain. Picture is flawless and night vision is awesome. We mounted it on a tree in our backyard to watch the deer come and eat the corn we put out for them. We added an EERO 6+ mesh wifi module so that wifi would reach the camera and the wifi works perfectly. We love this camera and would buy it again.

Awesome camera
My other camera died and so I did my research and bought this camera based on other reviews and I’m glad I did.First and foremost, the setup was intuitive and I had no issues whatsoever getting everything set up. The app is simple and the layout is much better than the last camera app I had.The picture and video quality exceeded my expectations. I had to readjust the camera a few times to ensure the FOV was what I needed, but once I figured out the best location for the camera I have been nothing but impressed.The auto tracking feature works excellently. My old camera would give me false alarms and I had yet to experience this issue with the new camera.Word of advice: if you can’t get the WIFI to show up for the camera, ensure you have your 2.4 Ghz network enabled, even if it’s only temporary.My only gripe is that I could not get my camera to work with my 256gb sd card, even after formatting, come to find out it will only take a max of 128gb.Overall and excellent camera for the price.Best purchase I’ve made in a while.The picture and video quality exceeded my expectations.

The AOSU 3K camera is very good overall, captures very clear video and is able to detect nearby human movement extremely well. The camera tracks with panning and tilting. When remotely viewing live footage it is very responsive and clear, even at night with the night vision capability. It also has the ability to hear audio, speak to an intruder and illuminate the scene very well. The camera seems very well built and sturdy. The app is easy to use and works great. I purchased 1 camera to remotely monitor my cottage and to assess how well it works, and I am now planning on buying more. The camera shipped quickly and in very good packaging. The only issue I had was with the solar charging but it was because the panel was just not getting enough sunlight in the original position. Once I moved it to a different location with more sun it starting charging properly. The support provided by AOSU, and Julie in particular, was absolutely fantastic. They were extremely responsive and were clearly working hard to solve my issue and make sure I was satisfied with the camera. Without requesting it, they provided me with a new solar panel to use, which was done by having me order the panel on Amazon, after which they instantly refunded the cost (in the end, there was nothing wrong with the panel). As I mentioned, the actual problem was my fault because the panel was not getting sufficient sunlight in the cold Canadian winter. Since moving it, it has worked flawlessly. I use a SD card in the camera to retain the videos. I highly recommend this camera and AOSU. Their support was outstanding. Communication with them was clear and concise and done directly through the app. If you want a great, yet simple to use security camera, this is the one – you will not be disappointed, but if you have challenges their support team will bend over backwards to help you. Really happy with this purchase!

It ensures that the cameras are charged daily, eliminating the need for battery replacements or electrical connections. Even in conditions with limited sunshine, the cameras still manage to charge efficiently. Typically, the charge levels range between 85% and 100%.- The user-friendly app for controlling the cameras stands out for its simplicity and ease of use. It provides comprehensive options for customising camera settings to meet specific preferences.- The night vision feature is a valuable addition, as it automatically activates the camera’s light upon detecting motion. I bought this camera in August based on a recommendation from a family member and the strong Amazon reviews. The camera was easy to install and set up and I am very pleased with the picture quality. It took some fiddling to get detection settings to the point that it didnât notify me of every car that drove along my road but I figured it out and now itâs great.Once the weather got colder (Iâm in Ontario), I started to get notifications that the camera wasnât charging so I reached out to online support and they gave me some tips regarding placement of the solar panel, etc and recommended bringing the camera inside to charge it (by then it was almost completely drained) and start over. I did that and it got back up to 100% fairly quickly. A couple of weeks later, customer service reached out to me to follow up (I was impressed) and I realized the charge was dropping again. This time, it was escalated and I was given additional information about this camera and cold weather. Turns out a solar powered camera may not be the best option for where I live. That being said, itâs a minor inconvenience to bring the camera in to charge it for a few hours every couple of weeks. As an apology for this, the company is sending me a wired outdoor camera which I will use in another area of the house (no power source near the original location).While I consider the winter charging issue minor, based on the overall operation of the camera and the OUTSTANDING customer service of Aosu, I would definitely buy from them again!!!
