More info would be nice
I took a star off because I was trying to find more info on the greensâ origin and the drying process on their website, but found nothing other than that the greens are sourced from around the world. Freeze drying is the optimal way to preserve the nutrients when drying, but it says nothing about the drying process either. The company was found in 1980, one would hope to find at least an FAQ section on the website but thereâs none. The âorganicâ part gives me some peace of mind but stillâ¦As far as the taste, it is not too bad. It smells like matcha when you open the jar. I used to buy the greens from the other famous brand (it was the pioneer in that field i think, or at least among the first and most popular ones on the market), and that one tastes pretty gross, but Im pretty tolerant to greens, I love vegetables. This one is not too bad at all.The canister is pretty full, not half full as it happens with collagen powders.I first used similar greens (from the other brand) for a month while in China for study abroad program. I took it to replace my normal veggie intake while there. I would take 2 spoons (little spoon it came with) with water and take 1000mg msm tablet every day. It was pretty gross in water but i did it. First thing my friends asked me when I returned was âwhat did you do to your hair, it looks fantastic. My hair grew fast and shiny and Im normally not the lucky horse-mane gene owner 😉 So I did see the benefit in taking those nasty greens at that time. I will try this too and might update my review when I finish.

Not sure if it’s doing anything…but no negatives so far.
It’s kind of hard to review supplements! If a supplement produces a big change in your existence (positive or negative) then you can definitely say that it did something. If you experience no difference compared to your time prior to taking the supplement, then you are left noting that the supplement either worked, but didn’t make you feel a difference, or that it just plain didn’t do anything. That’s what I find with 99% of supplements I’ve tried in the past. This bottle of organic greens falls into the latter category. I’ve been taking it daily for about 2 weeks now and still haven’t found it to have made any noticeable difference. Maybe a week or two is not enough time for it to work, but I truly don’t know. Maybe it’s working and I just don’t feel it. What I can say is that it tastes better than any of the other greens supplements I’ve tried over the years. It is more palatable and has a sweeter taste than most, and doesn’t have the freshly mowed lawn taste that many have! The taste of competitors products has left me not wanting to take them. This one with it’s decent taste doesn’t cause me to shy away from it. I’ll continue to take this supplement until the tub is empty, and then reevaluate. Is it working, I don’t know. Is it in itself causing me any grief? NO! For this reason, I cannot pull any stars from the product. I give it 5 stars.

Why do all supergreens have to be so sweet? Also be careful of p65 warning
Look, I’ve tried many various greens before and got sick of how overwhelmingly sweet/overpowering the taste can be. I get that it needs to do so to mask the taste of the greens but sometimes, sometimes it’s better to just let some of that flavor seep through rather than mask it with an annoyingly sweet taste. This is also too sweet but at least it doesn’t add any other flavor other than that classic white sugar taste to it so I can plan around it in my smoothies by adding other stuff. The ingredients are like most other super greens, the only thing giving me pause is the lead warning label. I do not need more potential causes of cancer in something I bought to stay healthy even if the possibility is extremely low. Better to be safe than sorry in my case.

good, but sweet
For a greens mixture I was surprised that this is a little sweet. My first thought was it tastes a little like sweet peas. It’s an extremely fine powder. It puffs into the air when you open the jar. That makes it easy to mix into almost anything. I’ve not tried to drink it in water, but I add it to lots of things that I make as a way to sneak in some nutrition. I added a couple scoops to homemade bread today and my family liked it because it was a little sweeter than usual (and it was a cool color!). I’m putting it in smoothies and anything else that can handle the little sweetness. It’s not very sweet, but I won’t be adding it to my savory sauces.

Great Green Boost For My Smoothies and Health Drinks
I rely on smoothies and blended drinks for at least one meal per day so I look for ways to keep them in balance to perform heavy nutritional duties. This is not so much for health as I am a lazy cook but concerned about my health. I believe in the rainbow health philosophy. The more colors in the diet the better is the way that thought, that philosophy goes. Again, I admit I am lazy and this is within my threshold, competence and ability to follow. This Sports Research takes care of the greens for sure. It has the range from wheat grass, broccoli to spinach with lots in between. It is a fine powder that blends easily in the smoothies I make in the blender or the quick tea based drinks I make in a shaker. This has a slightly sweet taste and pleasant healthy aroma that convinces me I am taking the right thing And this is not hard to take. It has a wide range of vitamins that may be in addition to the organic vegetative blend. All this comes together to be a really good and easy addition to my lazy path to daily health.
