No gas
This product does not give me the gut issues like other protein powders that use lactose ingredients. The powder taste is pretty bad with just almond milk, but if I add a slash of orange juice and one packet of sweetener, the taste is not too bad. I hope the company definitely considers adding more protein powder flavor options in the future. Maybe strawberry flavor or mixed berry flavor? Is that possible? Oh, go ahead and throw in a matcha one too while you’re brainstorming. A rose and honey flavor maybe pushing it…or is it?

Awesome!
Anyone who says this is pricey is insane! You get a 2 pack and it lasts more than a month For 33$. Thatâs a total steal! I was drinking a different one for a long time that was 28$ for 15 servings. Thatâs about on average how much these vegan powders are. NO vegan superfood powders are inexpensive. But this has a great amount of protein and lots of superfoods! As far as taste? This is good! Most of these arenât meant to be super sweet and tasty! They are full of veggies and fruit people! Instead of mixing with water, perhaps try what I do. Toss a banana in there a scoop of peanut butter and oat or almond milk. Absolutely delicious! It thickens it up and it tastes great! Great cost of the amount. I already have had a subscription for 3 months. Definitely worth it! If you arenât one of these people that find everything to complain about and expect healthy food to somehow taste like a milkshake and not have a healthy flavor that goes along with it ð I highly recommend!

After a week if taking it
It does have a strong chalky taste not bad at all but itâs a trade off for healthy. Good stuff was never meant to have a yummy taste. It does take a a day or two for body to get used to. I would start with one scoop or half a scoop to let your body get used to the great stuff. It blends really well. Add milk or water about 7 ounces, then add the scoop of the powder then fill it up to 16 ounces and shake for about 40 to 60 seconds.

Good Protein
I can’t speak on the real benefits yet, only been using it for about a week now. But what I can say is that it’s a decent taste of light chocolate. I haven’t experienced what others stated, a chalky flavor or texture. It’s just a very bland light chocolate taste, like a watered chocolate drink, which isn’t bad. I like it. It mixes well for me because I use a regular blender to mix it with water, & etc. It does aid in curbing my appetite a bit, not a whole lot, but enough, especially after my workouts. I only use it once a day after my workouts, but could see myself using it more often in place of snacking. One negative though I experienced is once I opened the pouch, it wasn’t able to close again, not sure why. So as soon as I opened it the first time & realized it, I had to transfer it to another container I already had. Overall I like it, and plan to continue with this brand.

plant protein drink
Amazon no longer carries the brand I like and suggested this as a replacement. The flavor is off. It’s supposed to be chocolate but I could not taste chocolate at all. It has a more vegetable aroma and the consistency is watery. I really tried to give it a chance but I have to give it a thumbs down.

Not shake and go!
It tastes ok. But the biggest problem is it’s not shake and go. The picture above was after a minute of shaking with a metal ball shaker in it. I scraped it out and shook it for another 30 seconds and it still had huge chunks of powder. The powder was still very smooth so it wasn’t terrible to swallow. I think the best way is to get one of those cheap battery blenders. Also I put the full ingredients listed because of I had known there was so little spirulna I wouldn’t have bought it. Oh well wasted money.

Chocolate: Chalky & Not as yummy as beachbody shakeology
This is a mild chocolate flavor and has a very chalky aftertaste. Itâs an acquired taste. Itâs not unbearable, but I havenât figured out how to make it work yet. I mixed it with a cup of cold almond milk in a shaker cup.I was looking for a replacement to beachbody shakeology, which I think is overpriced and expensive to ship. Beachbody chocolate shakeology tastes great. So much so, that my Kindergartener steals it from me. She wonât touch this. It just isnât very sweet or flavorful. And the chalky after taste. Whew. Iâll update the review if I find a good combo. Maybe peanut butter powder. I might add literal Hershey syrup.

The best chocolate protein I had so far
I absolutely love this product. The taste is just great and it has all micros and macros Iâd look for in a protein shake.

I’ve been a huge proponent of complete meal protein powders for years. In fact, for the last 10 years, I’ve almost always started my day with one. I started off with Vega and then I transferred over to Progressive and have tried Garden of Life and a few others. The issues that I had with all of them, was that there were always ingredients I didn’t want. Sure they had a ton of great stuff to but I really didn’t want things like xanthan, guar gum, inulin and the worst for me was chicory root. I’ll never understand why companies include these. These kind of things cause upset stomach and essentially counteract any probiotics. I just sort of accepted it since nothing else seemed to be available. But I finally got fed up and switched to pea protein and a multivitamin as my go to morning wake up. Then I stumbled on these guys when looking for omega-3 capsules. I really liked their website, their products and what they were saying. More importantly, the ingredient list for their protein powder hit all the checkmarks. There was no BS, just good simple ingredients…so I gave it a shot… I was not disappointed. First off, it mixes really well. I use it with rice milk. You just have to shake it. No need for a blender (which was necessary for some of the other brands unless you wanted chunks). The taste is fantastic. It’s a very light and sweet chocolate flavour (I mix it with rice milk but water also works great). Now some of the complaints I read here is about the texture. Clearly these people have never really had a protein shake. ***Note to those people: It’s not supposed to feel/taste like you’re drinking a milkshake.**** The texture is totally fine. It does have a very slight chalky feel but it’s so minor. To be honest, I actually love it. This is a great product. I ordered 3 packs of 2 which should cover me for about 3 months. If you’re looking for a legit quality no BS protein/meal powder… this is the best one IMO

I loved the ingredient list on this one. No stevia, also had some fibre. I found it to be way too sweet for my taste and the texture is a bit grainy. This one has that pea protein taste to it so if that is something you can’t handle, you’ve been warned.

The bag says it all. Itâs true the ingredients in this protein powder are top notch. Iâm impressed by the energy I feel after taking it in my morning smoothie and it keeps hunger at bay through to afternoon.Iâm a convert because I ran out of my usual protein powder and they depleted stock only to come back with a delivery date for November and at a higher price point (ugh!). This was the best alternative. For those who donât like the tasteâ¦wellâ¦youâd have to be nuts to just shake this or any other protein powder directly into plain water and gulp it down! My recipe (blender):1 âscoopâ of this protein powder2 oz cold brew8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk1 tbsp cocoa powderHalf medium bananaI put scoop in quotes because I donât know if Iâm supposed to fill to the line (about half way up the scoop) or to the top! ð. But usually I just do to the line and itâs enough. The cocoa powder helps make it more chocolatey and the almond milk and banana make it more creamy. Some of the cons (thus 1 star removed):- There is fairy dust everywhere when I open the bag. Feel like itâd be bad for the lungs?- the scoop as I mentioned is confusing and when you first open the bag, you have to dig it out- itâs not that chocolatey on its own so you need to add cocoa powder to make it more palatable- it recommends you NOT use for weight loss. Why mention that so specifically?Other than that, great protein powder with lots of healthy fruits and veggies chocked into it. I look forward to using thr 10% coupon on the back to reorder soon.
