Many Colors and Brightness Controlled by App
I put this table lamp on top of a shelf above my bed and can use it for reading or as night light or just simply a mood light depending on what color I want for the evening. I have a second lamp in my living room that I keep with a soft golden glow next to my reading chair. It gives the whole room a warm feeling.I can access it through Google or Alexa and it has routines I can set so lights come on just before I get home we’re just as it’s turning dark when I am home. It even has a setting for turning on randomly while you’re away from the house for days. I love the environment it creates and the convenience. As an older person, I like voice activation on and off so that I don’t have to worry about entering a dark room anymore and trying to find my way around to get to the light. I do recommend it for older people and I’m sure it would be a lot of fun for young people too just for the colors.

I bought these primarily so I can use the wake up and sleep functions, where they auto-dim or gradually increase in brightness at night/day. I have run into a few issues with the app here and there, their support team always emails me back quickly and the issues have been resolved almost immediately. So, I would highly recommend this and will continue to use and purchase this product. They are easy to setup and all the functions on the app are very user friendly.

Stopped working after a few months of use.
I got these lights late August. Barely used them because they were mainly for seldom overhead lighting and I was away at college shortly after getting them. I got back home only to found out they werenât turning on, even after reinstalling and using the bulbs on other lamps. Iâm not sure why this is the case, but itâs best to go with the Govee alternativeâmore for your buck.
