A great overall experience.
For years now, I’ve sworn by electric toothbrushes. My visits to the dentist used to be a long, drawn out experience and usually accompanied with a follow up visit to fill in cavities. About a decade ago, I decided to spend the money on an electric toothbrush and I gotta say, it has made such a big difference. Visits to dentists are fast and I’ve even gotten a couple of compliments about how clean my teeth were!Now for these years, I used the Oral-B toothbrushes which use spinning heads but when that broke, I decided to try a sonic brush.The usmile Y10 stood out among the many choices out there because it seemed to be a good balance between price and function. I found it to be a nice overall product. Built into the brush is a pretty nice screen that shows clearly the various built-in functions. I haven’t gone through the menus too much because the brush really just works as is, out of the box. I know that there is a language selection and a brush timer. Also, just like the Oral-B, this brush has a sensor to ensure that you’re not brushing too hard where you might damage your gums.First, I was worried that this brush didn’t charge using an induction charger, but I found that the battery life on this brush is quite good and because I don’t need to deal with a separate charger, this brush is great for travel as I already bring a bunch of USB-C chargers with me.What I really like about this brush is that it is quieter during operation than Sonicare. When I had guests at my house, I would be able to hear the sonicare in operation as it’s quite distinct. Turning the usmile on, I was surprised at how quiet it was.After using it for a couple of weeks now, I’d say that the experience is totally different from the Oral-B but I wouldn’t say that it’s bad in any way. I really like this new experience and I’m happy with my purchase.

The electric toothbrush package includes two brush heads, each with its own clear case, a charging cable, and a manual.The toothbrush, or main unit, features a small screen, a power button, and a function button.Upon first use, I selected the language preference by using the function and power buttons, choosing English.The toothbrush offers four modes: smart, clean, white, and soft. To switch modes, I press the power button to turn on the toothbrush and then I press the function repeatedly until I see the desired mode on the screen. Personally, I prefer the smart mode, with white mode (for teeth whitening) being my second choice as with both of these modes l can feel and see my teeth cleaner.The screen on the main unit provides guidance on which teeth to clean and for how long. It also uses vibrations to indicate when it’s time to move to a different set of teeth, ensuring a thorough cleaning process. Additionally, the screen tracks and displays if I spend too little or too much time cleaning my teeth, helping me monitor and improve my oral hygiene routine.I want to add that I used a Philips toothbrush before and I feel that my new toothbrush is gentler on my gums than my previous one and still gets my teeth clean.I am unsure how long it takes to fully charge the toothbrush since it arrived partially charged. I can charge it using any USB-C cable, there is no separate charger. I have been using the toothbrush for over a month without needing to recharge it, so I cannot yet comment on the battery life.

Difente por completo esta tecnología de cepillo sónico. Utilizan un principio diferente a los cepillos eléctricos tradicionales.No son tan agresivos en los movimientos como el de “la marca que todos conocemos”, y que está mas que demostrado que hace un trabajo correcto.Pero todo evoluciona, y esto es otra tecnología, que en mi opinion, y en resumen, ya os adelanto, que es mucho mas moderna y efectiva.Llevo un par de años utilizándo otro cepillo de la misma tecnología que este USMILE P10 Pro, de una marca japonesa muy conocida.Mi sensación era que la limpieza no iba a ser igual que con el electrico tradicional, porque el movimiento de las cerdas es tan rápido, que es casi imperceptible a la vista. Da la sensación de que ese cabezal se mueve muy poco. Estamos acostumbrados al movimiento mecánico de rotación, de “los de toda la vida”, mucho mas lento y por lo tanto, mas evidente para nuestros ojo. Claro…hasta que te haces la primera limpieza, que te das cuenta de que eso vibra a una velocidad enorme, y con potencia mas que suficiente.La sensación después de una limpieza, es muy parecida a haber ido al dentista a hacerte una limpieza profesional. O al menos, esa fué mi sensación.Estuve investigando un poco sobre ambos métodos de vibración del cabezal. En mi opinion y por lo que he podido ver, hay mucha literatura tendenciosa, hacia la “marca mas conocida”, que tiene muy “incentivados” a los profesionales del sector.El cepillo mecánico de la “gran marca”, según sus fichas técnicas, hacen entre 600 y 800 movimientos giratorios por minuto.Este Usmile llega a 34.000 vibraciones por minuto.Lo cierto es, que no hay mucho estudio concluyente de si es mejor un cepillo rotatorio, de 800 movimientos rotatorios por minuto, o un cepillo sónico como este que hace mas de 30.000 movimientos oscilatorios, (no giratorios), por segundo. Pero de nuevo sospecho que hay poca objetividad tendenciosa.Aplicándo un poco la lógica, siempre limpiará mejor, algo que se mueve 40 o 50 veces mas rápido, aunque los movimientos sean mas cortos, relativamente.Por cierto, y salvando las distancias, los dentistas usan tecnología sónica para realizar las limpiezas bucales.Según algunos expertos gracias a la altísima tasa de vibraciones, los cepillos sónicos crean un flujo de dentífrico mezclado con nuestra saliva, que llegan a zonas inaccesibles, imposibles para los cepillos eléctricos tradicionales. Hay información de esto en la red.Comparándolo también con el otro cepillo sónico, que tengo, esta unidad, en el apartado de limpieza, es mas sofisticada, y os explico parqué.Este Usmile dispone también de 3 modos de limpieza. Pero a diferencia del mio habitual, este vibra con diferentes intensidades y frecuencias, según el modo que elijamos. Cada una estudiada para una funcion. Modo sensible, modo limpieza completa y modo brillo, o pulido. Su tecnología consiste en frecuencias e intensidades distintas y combinarlas en algunos modos.La carga, es por cable USB C. Si es cierto el dato del fabricante, no echaremos de menos la carga inductiva. Nada menos que 180 días. 6 meses. Una pasada. ¿Para que carga inductiva?El aspecto de calidad, bien fabricado, y ensamblado. Visualmente atractivo. Viene en una caja de calidad bien presentado. Con 2 repuestos, cable de carga y libro de instrucciones en varios idiomas, entre ellos español.No trae estuche ni nada por el estilo. Tampoco cargador de pared.Importante también, los repuestos están disponibles en la página de Usmile.Para resumir y teminar ya esta reseña , una tecnología de limpieza dental diferente, que produce sensaciones diferentes durante y después de la limpieza.Buen producto, de aspecto y presentación impecable, a precio miy razonable.

Prodotto fantastico! Vengo da una esperienza di tanti anni con uno spazzolino con testina rotante. Questo spazzolino della Usmile invece utilizza una tecnologia esclusivamente basata sulle vibrazioni, che mi sembra essere estremamente più comoda.Rispetto alla mia esperienza passata mi sembra di poter applicare sui denti movimenti più efficaci e consoni la cui efficacia è coadiuvata appunto dalle vibrazioni della testina, senza contare che il peso del prodotto è davvero ridotto ed inferiore rispetto ad altri spazzolini elettrici che ho provato. All’inizio bisogna un po’ abituarsi alla vibrazione (che ha comunque tre livelli di intensità per adattarsi alla sensibilità dell’utente) tuttavia già dopo il secondo/terzo utilizzo mi sono abituata senza provare più fastidi.Inoltre questo spazzolino è dotato di un temporizzatore che, attraverso impulsi vibranti e luci led, indica il tempo necessario da dedicare ai quadranti della dentatura per ottenere una pulizia ottimale. Altro lato positivo consiste nel metodo di ricarica e nella durata della batteria: nessun attacco proprietario, lo spazzolino si ricarica infatti attraverso una comoda porta usb-C tramite un cavetto (compreso nella confezione).La batteria invece per ora mi sembra fantastica. Ho ricaricato solo la prima volta il prodotto ed è da quasi un mese che lo uso quotidianamente senza la necessità di ricaricarla. Paragonando questo prodotto ad altri devo dire che mi soddisfa tantissimo, probabilmente il migliore che abbia provato sinora.
