Encourage long-term optimal health with Kato-Kibble! Our specially formulated, Starch Free and grain free dog & cat food is designed with the health and wellbeing of your pet in mind. Carnivores by nature, dogs and cats do not require carbohydrates and starches. In fact, a starch-based diet (most commercial pet foods are majority starch) can result in inflammation, digestive problems and weight gain. By contrast, Kato-Kibble is a nutrient-dense pet food high in protein, fat, and micronutrients designed to boost your pet’s health and nutrition. Pet obesity and diabetes is on the rise among cats and dogs due to starch and grain based pet foods. With Kato-Kibble Starch Free dog and cat food, your pet will eat more like their primal ancestors and cousins by consuming a diet rich in meat, protein, and fat. Not only does a meat-based pet food encourage strong bones, it promotes healthy teeth and shiny coats – not to mention the weight-loss benefits associated with ketogenic diets. When searching for a high fat, high protein cat and dog food, Kato-Kibble is incomparable. With more than twice the protein content (60+%) of conventional dog and cat food, your pets will find more nutritional value than so-called “premium” and “grain free” pet foods, which often still contain harmful starches such as tapioca, potatoes, and other additives. By contrast, Kato-Kibble eliminates these non-carnivorous ingredients entirely. *Ketogenic Pet Foods are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Great for Diabetic Cats
Our cat is diabetic and we were attempting to find a dry food to avoid having to feed out cat 5-6 cans of wet food per day and one that was formulated for diabetic pets. We have tried a number of foods and this is the one he will eat and seems to enjoy. We were glad to know it is formulated for dogs as well, we came home one day to find the cat knocked over his bowl from his perch and the dogs had eaten some of it, they were actually eating it as we came in the door. We were comforted knowing it was safe unlike dogs eating other cat food brands which would be very fattening for them. Now that we know our dogs like it and it’s formulated for both dogs and cats were considering swapping out our dog food for this. Our dogs are small 6 & 9 lbs so the cost is manageable to ensure they have a healthy diet.

Low carb cat food
My vet recommended that I use a low-carb cat food for my cat that was a few pounds overweight. I was looking for a dry low-carb cat food, most of them are wet. In my search I found this product. In my calculation it has about 6% carbohydrates, my vet recommended less than 10.I transitioned them gradually from their old pet food. The transition went well, they enjoy the food and eat much less of it.

Great kibble for diabetic cat
My cat was also diagnosed with diabetes and she had lost her a lot of vision. We started insulin shots twice per day, but you are supposed to be super strict on timing exactly and making sure the cat eats something before giving the insulin. One time she hadnt eaten, have the shot and the cat was going into a unconscious coma-like state, not able to respond to anything. Luckily for the internet, I found it was hypoglycemia and how to revive her (drops of honey water on the tongue). I’ve moved the cat the ketogenic kibble and freeze-dried food, which she likes real well. Hoping that her diabetes will go into remission. Some have asked how big the kibble is — its small, pea-sized.

Truly low carb
I have been searching for a low carb, starch free diet for my cat who has Stomatitis in an attempt to calm his immune system down. This is the only food I can find after days of scouring the internet that fits that bill. The other brands that claim to be low carb still contain pumpkin or some kind of starch, and they still have about 30% carbs, which isn’t low enough. My cat loves the flavor of this and tolerates it well. I slowly transitioned him to this food increasing by 10% at a time every few days and he had no digestive upset (which is great because he has an extremely sensitive stomach and throws up incredibly easily.) My only complaint and reason for 4 stars is that chicken meal is the first ingredient. Why? Please just use straight chicken.

Great source of protein
Although the vet says “He looks great”, we feel that our Great Dane is underweight. However he refuses to eat more. When we add a gravy type product, he will eat it but then he throws it up. We purchased this food as a supplement to our regular dry food. He really seemed to enjoy the taste and was actually trying to pick around the regular food. Hopefully this will help him get to where he needs to be. He REALLY loved the Quail cookie sample that was included in our shipment!

Who Are You?
All would be okay, except the identity of your company, and who formulated this Ketogenic Diet is a mystery. I bought a bag of your food for my cat who is showing signs of diabetes and she really likes it. She has had no bad reaction s to it, but the more I thought about it, the more frightened I became.I am 80 and disabled so getting her to a vet was difficult, because I can no longer drive. I would like to have had faith that your ketogenic pet diet could have helped us, but if something happened to my beloved cat and I might have saved her by getting her medical care, I would never forgive myself. Why not identify yourselves and offer support?

Fur babies enjoy it
Both cats and the dog seem to like this kibble. I feed it to one cat specifically because of his pre-diabetes.The kibble size is small, it appears to be easy to swallow for a kitty. It is high in calories, so it makes it challenging to feed using a robot-feeder because the default minimum dispenses more than I would prefer; we had to cut out one feeding time or the cat would be getting too many calories (he needs to lose a couple pounds by next fall). Bottom line, cat loves is, we’re on our second bag now.

Wow. It went from $40 to $60!!
The ingredients in this cat food were promising. Weâve used this for several months now for 3 cats.First there was a %30 discount, so I subscribed. But I kept having to order more and more. We are on our 6th bag or so.Now the price has gone up to $60!!I *might* be willing to pay that except for one BIG PROBLEM.Every time a car poops, we can smell it ANYWHERE in our home. We have to RUN to flush the poop or it will stink up our home for hours. It lingers and smells absolutely terrible.I even tried giving the kitties probiotics, but alas, it just stinks. I was really hoping this would be the brand for us, because our older cat has weight problems and two 1 year old cats now have fat bellies as well. None of the cats lost weight on this keto food.Which makes it hard for me to believe that it actually is ketogenic. But for the price and the smell, we will have to pass.
