Need An Android Auto device
It’s awesome ð But one problem Android auto it doesn’t work for me. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. But car play fine. They need something for Android Auto. Not everyone like the IPhone I certainly don’t.

Too many bugs
I have to unplug and plug back in every time I start my truck to get it to connect. Annoying.To get Netflix and others to work I have to first connect to my home internet then switch to my phone hotspot and it will work. If I stop and turn truck off I’m out of luck. Would love the company to contact me on fixes!

I bought this product to use with my Pixel 9 Pro Xl, and it did not work correctly. Other HDMI devices worked with it, but not the phone. This model only supports Carplay, not Android Auto, so that was another issue. Ottocast sells a Universal one on their site.

Do not purchase
2nd attempt ,2nd time purchased,It is miss leading when they mentioned it works with android systems. I did all checks prior to purchase from their web page. Says my car is compatible. I view videos on YouTube to see if I miss a install step. Read manual . Results nothing. On both items . Save time and money ..don’t buy!!!!

It’s not for Android
I love the product but it your using your android phone to cast to your car screen it might be a problem. It wants to use apple car play. If you only have android auto, this will NOT work. I got it to work, which is great, but you will spend a time to get it there. I’ll be honest, I gave up the first time I tried, but came back and tried every way I thought would work. You will need to turn your car off and on at least once in this set up so don’t try this while driving. At this point it works but you have to play with it to get it to work. It is not a plug a d play when using you phone. I have not tried with a fire stick or optional device so. Good luck.KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD!!

I bought this device so that I could have wireless CarPlay in my 2018 F-150. It works flawlessly! With the added bonus of being able to watch videos on the screen using the HDMI input. Great product!

Once you pair your cellphone with the device, you see a menu with two options: CarPlay or HDMI. Wireless CarPlay connects Bluetooth with excellent sound and no latency. I have a google chromecast connected via HDMI and works perfectly. I use my iPhone hotspot and I have no problems at all. 100% recommended ððð
