Sturdy compact design

What an awesome little device!!
I’ve had Roku devices for years now – starting with the small box, then the Stick, now the Express, which is designed to stick to the side or top of your tv with the included adhesive. Unfortunately, today’s TVs really have no flat surface to stick it to, because the screens are so thin that there is no flat surface wide enough to stick the Roku Express to – it just falls off over time. Since the Express has to have a clear line of sight to the remote in order to work, this presents a problem. I didn’t want it sitting on the entertainment center, and really had nowhere else to put it. Then I found this little gem! This ingenious little shelf sits right on top of your TV with a small, adjustable brace that holds it in place against the TV, and a sticky pad on top to grip the Roku Express. For additional security, there’s a black band (like a rubber hair tie) that further secures the Roku to the holder. I love it! It’s very unobtrusive, just sits on top of the TV doing exactly what it was designed to do. :-)UPDATED 2.29.2024: I just purchased a second one of these quirky little gadgets for a new TV and Roku setup, and just as before, it works like a charm! My Roku Express device is held securely in place on top of the little shelf by the included elastic band (basically an elastic hair tie), and I don’t have to hold my remote at a special angle or up higher, etc – I just aim it at the tv and press the buttons and it works just fine. These have been and continue to be a winner, and a must-have for any Roku owner!

Solid way to mount a compact camera on a monitor, if you mind the bezels
I first came across this product when looking for speaker mounts for my home theater. But I realized that it may make a great alternative to tripod mounts for sitting my compact camera over my monitor like a webcam.Truth is — yeah, it does a pretty good job. I’ve been using this to mount a Sony RX100 atop an LG 27UN850 (which itself is mounted to a pneumatic monitor arm) for about four months running, for daily use as a webcam setup, and I’ve never felt worried about the stability of the setup. I’m able to angle the camera down just enough to put me center-frame with the monitor right in front of me. It’s sturdy enough that I think it could bear a little more weight than the RX100 — but I haven’t tried, so don’t take my word for it.I have only one real gripe about it: with my LG’s approximately 3/8″ top bezel, the substantial lip of this shelf bleeds into the actual screen real estate, by about an 1/8″. This is enough to occasionally interfere with UI on the monitor — but this can be remedied by sticking something like thin foam strips under the shelf to lift up the front edge (note, this will also change the angle).The other thing to note is that if you use the stick pad (like I did) with anything smaller than the pad’s surface area, it will gather dust (as you can see in my photos). I never see the top of the shelf from where I sit, so I don’t care about this.

Ideal for small tv devices such as the ROKU
it is a good support to place the roku if you have the tv suspended on a wall and you have nowhere to put it. it is well located to receive the remote control signal. it allows you to locate the cables well behind the screen. It works well despite being a plastic piece, which if I called my attention is that to hold the roku brings is a garter for the hair of those thick.

Streaming device buddy
Really nice product for my Apple TV 4K streaming device! The best part is the flexibility of adjustments for mounting it to the top of the television. Looks great, well made, sturdy, and easy setup. The top has a sticky pad for the streaming device to sit on and an elastic band to secure it. I used the elastic band but seems like it would be fine not using it too. Glad I purchased this product versus the products the mount on the wall or behind my TV. Reason: I can see the ON light on my device, remote works great, and no holes in my wall.

Shelf for Roku device
This is a lovely device unfortunately I had to return it. The reason was it’s small and I bought the new Roku box which is considerably larger than this shelf. It’s well made and if you have smaller devices to fit this it’s a perfect purchase
