This is the perfect car seat mat. I got a new car and wanted to ensure that my seats were protected from my sonâs booster seat and snacks lol. This product did just that. It is super easy to clean, we love the design & color, itâs very durable, doesnât slide around, covers the entire seat perfectly, & also allows him to properly function his car seat. This product will definitely last a long time with how durable it is. We love this and would recommend this product to anyone whoâs struggling to protect their seats in their car.

Sturdy, thick, waterproof, dentproof
Ok ok ok… For those of you who use car seats for kids: The car seat we used in our last vehicle, a Yukon, ruined the leather seat. After being cinched down for so long it left giant indents in the leather seats that were irreparable. So, when we bought our Enclave I wanted to be sure to find something that would actually protect the seats. There are a lot of fabric mats for seats out there, but none of those really address the problem of denting and pressure. They’re waterproof yes, however that’s not really what I was worried about. Most of those came with very mixed reviews as well. Finally after hours and hours of searching i found exactly what i was looking for! Rubber mats that are actually meant to go under carseats, so my babies are still safe, and my seat is fully protected!!! Clek is an expensive ass carseat brand 𤣠but their seat mats are very affordable and are doing the job beautifully!!! So if you’re in the same boat and need a real solution… here you go!ð I highly recommend the Clek Mat-Thingy!!!

Those with slippery car seats!
My car has hard leather seats that are super slippery. My daughter’s car seat could not be installed properly because it moved about 6 inches to the right and left (not safe). I thought it was the car seat itself and tried two more just to find out my leather seats were the problem. I googled “mat thingy for car seats” and this is what showed up. The Mat-Thingy is exactly what I needed. Her seat is safe and secure and doesn’t move side to side anymore. Highly recommend if you’re having issues with slippery leather seats! Also, this protects my seats from crumbs and water from my very active toddler. win-win!

Great fit, durable material and easy to clean!
I LOVE this mat! Itâs a great material that doesnât feel slippery, a nice size and cleans up well. The material seems like it would hold spills well. When I upgraded my car this spring, I bought this mat and an another popular brand mat to go under my kids booster and car seat. I wish I would have bought 2 of these! The material is nice and the kick pad is also longer than the other seat protector.

Secure install, but not completely flat on underside
I mainly bought this mat to prevent car seat indents on my middle seat in a Grand Cherokee. I searched reviews and found people say this mat is smooth on the underside. IT IS NOT COMPLETELY SMOOTH ON THE BOTTOM. The flower imprint that shows on the top also shows on the bottom and made a slight flower imprint on my middle seat. Nothing terrible but I was a bit disappointed that it wasnât just perfectly flat and smooth. I ended up putting a small dish towel under the mat and I was still able to get a secure install. Overall I like the mat, itâs definitely wide for a middle seat but I just rolled up the sides where the seatbelt comes out and itâs fine. Not sure if it will still leave the flower imprint with the dish towel underneath.

Cheaper than Weathertech but just as good!
Originally had the weather tech ones which are great but are $50 a pop. These are $10 cheaper and more flexible which is nice! Definitely recommend! Work great to protect our leather seats as well and keep our kids seats from slipping and sliding even when tightened!

Easy to install, safe seat protectors!
We all know that aftermarket carseat accessories are generally not recommended for use because they can compromise a carseat’s safety–that is, unless it’s made by the carseat’s manufacturer and subject to safety testing. I’m so pleased to find something made by Clek that safely protects my car’s leather seats! Our rear-facing Clek Foonf is installed with the seatbelt and the mat did not interfere with our ability to get a secure install. It’s hard to see in the photo, but the mat has a raised edge which would help contain small spills or water from a child’s winter boots. It does not slip or slide around, and since the Foonf is quite heavy, the mat contours a bit to the base of the seat. I would recommend this to any Clek user looking to keep your car seats in good condition for the 4+ years your child will be using their Clek! This is a decent seat protector for any car seat. I just wished it was a bit thicker. Make sure to buy it when it goes on sale.
