A great product!
In my application of this device, this works great. I use it to turn on a bank of track lights I installed that are plugged into an outlet on the other side of a workroom which has a lot of junk stored between the work area and the outlet. There is nothing iffy about the remote operation. It is a convenience that is very affordable and effective within a large room.

Had a lamp at the end of the sofa that was hard to turn on and off. Found this widget, installed it in a couple of minutes, and on and off went the lamp with just a press of a button on the remote. It comes with the batteries for the remote while the transmitter is plug and play into any AC socket, AND you don’t have to be close o the appliance for it to work as intended – a plus! Reliable and Simple
This remote switch does exactly what is supposed to do, and very simply. I can turn off my entire stereo system with this switch (of course I turn off the components properly first). It is able to handle 15A, which is more than necessary. I am very happy with it!

Works through ceiling to 2nd floor without problems
My internet service starts great (100-200 mbps) when the router/radio first boots. But over hours it can degrade to 2-4 mbps (my guess is software on the cell tower). I often have to restart the router to create a new connection to download large files quickly or do video conferencing. I got REALLY tired of going up the stairs to power off/on the router that has to be in a 2nd story window. Now I can push the off button on the remote from my living room, wait 15 seconds, push the on button, wait 70 seconds for the boot and I’m in the fast lane again.
