Sheâs wearing an Apple tag. Whether she likes it or not. And she DOES NOT like it (but she likes prowling around at night more).Was worried about the fit but it never bothered her, and I left it loose. Sheâs a smaller kitty but the weight didnât bother her either. Very durable knowing what she probably put it through. This was my second apple tag collar. She destroyed the first one in 2 weeks (it was cute but it was cloth). This leather-like material is much more functional & about the same price.Now, my cat DOES NOT like things on her neck. A couple months ago she got a cold. Who knew cats could get colds!?! Not me. I took the collar off at that point, and every time I try to put it back on she hasnât been all that receptive. So she hasnât gone back out. But if your cat will be still, the collar is super easy to use and fit to the right size and holds the tag in place VERY snug. Would recommend.

Way less bulky
It is still bulky just because of how big air tags are but this one is so much less bulky than the other ones I have put on him. I have had several people mention how fancy he is with it on. Haha. Heâs been wearing it for about 2 months and it is holding up really well even with as rough as he plays with his sisters.

Sturdiest ID Tags I’ve Seen for Pets
Two weeks ago, one of our cats ran out the back door as we took out our trash. Before he escaped, he’d lost his ID and collar, and his get-away happened to fall while he was without. Skipping over how awful that was, I’ll tell you we got him back and resolved to get better ID tags and collars. I found these while I was looking for something that would be more durable than what he had on. When we received the tags, we weren’t disappointed–we bought them for all four cats and are glad that we did.First, this tag doesn’t bend or warp out of shape. Its edges are sturdy, and so is the rest of it. There is no flexing, nothing looks like it wants to snap off, and the place where it attaches to the collar is sturdy, too. I feel that these will last us for a long time. Though they are durable, they remain lightweight enough not to inconvenience the cats as they move about. This is a happy comproimise of all the features I feel are important.As small as these tags look, they give you options for up to eight lines, and I value being able to put as much information as possible on them. We chose to leave our cats’ names off but said that the animals are indoors-only and have gotten lost. We further added that anyone finding them should call one of our cell numbers. Other tags I looked at while shopping for these don’t allow you to add quite as many lines. This let me provide two phone numbers, one for back-up, in case a cat gets out of the house again, and the person finding him or her can’t reach one of us.Getting them onto the collars was easy. Because they’re well made, I don’t anticipate issues with them not staying in place.Of lesser importance, I like the customizable shapes. They are kind of cute, but I certainly place less significance on that than I do on their sturdiness and the amount of information I can include.I am happy with this purchase so far and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a pet ID tag you can tailor to your needs.

I am sorry to report that unlike other reviewers, the collar I received wa not only poorly made, it doesnât seem to be genuine leather!Construction:Firstly, the snap holding the AirTag surround is under a tightly constructed loop. The fabric of the collar is thick too, and both issues made access to the snap difficult. Once I managed to unsnap it to slide in the AirTag, the snapâs stud came apart from its eyelet and the parts had fallen to the floor. Of course my house panther, Luna, was there immediately, and I had a struggle to grab the fallen parts before she could do whatever she might have done with them.Fiber:The fabric is stamped with a leather 3D embossed pattern to simulate genuine leather but on close inspection, appears to be some form of artificial fiber. How do I know? As a professional interior designer, studies at university included several semesters of coursework in Textile Science. Nothing about the fiber resembles or behaves like genuine leather. It doesnât possess any attributes of genuine leather such as hand, pliability or odor. There are small bits that simulate âhairs,â or fuzzy suede bits, coming off the cut sides but that in itself doesnât prove the collar is made of genuine leather. Like the leather patterned embossing, the suede can also be part of an artificial fiberâs presentation. To the touch, all of its parts feel like a softened plastic. I would have conducted a flame test to confirm my assessment, but am returning this product.Size:The last point, the collar is short for a medium to large cat. Had this product not been flawed, itâs size concerned me. There are several holes, the first too large, second too small for an 10.5 lb 8-year old Domestic Shorthair kitty whose neck measures 8.5â. Two more are there for very small necks. Theyâre spaced far apart from each other. I donât own a textile hole punch. More holes would allow for a precise fit. Another problem, the collarâs scale, in person, seems oversized for cats.Iâm going with a black âgenuine leatherâ AirTag holder mounted on a very small gold carabiner that can quickly clip on Lunaâs current collar. The holder itself is the size of an AirTag, and it seems a better, and safe, solution as it doesnât have potentially dangerous parts like snaps that might present problems.Purchase cautiously. Had the snap parts fallen off when I wasnât there, they posed a choking hazard to companion pets & small children.
