How I made it work with Ring Solar Panel
I ordered the 2020 Ring Video Doorbell and Ring Solar Panel. It turned out that I needed a wedge to get a proper angle on my doorbell video’s view so I ordered this QIBOX Adjustable Wedge. I had to jimmy it to make it work with the solar panel. I am happy with it after some modifications. As it turns out, the plug that extends from the solar panel does not fit through the front-side of the wedge box where it should match up with the Ring mounting bracket to allow for enough space for the solar plug to be inserted into the back of the video doorbell. (If you are not using a solar panel this will not be a problem.) In order to modify, I had to cut some of the ABS plastic that the wedge box is made of to create an opening for the solar panel plug to pass through. I used the Ring Video Doorbell mounting bracket as a template and marked where the hole was needed on the wedge. I then took a small drillbit and drilled little holes consecutively around the perimeter of where I wanted to create the hole. I then took a plier and was able to bend and break the plastic piece out. I gently sanded the edges and then I was able to put the whole thing back together with solar panel attached!I should also mention that the wall mounting bracket included with the solar panel to be used with the Ring Video Doorbell has a hole in both top and bottom of the bracket to allow for pass-through of the solar panel cord depending on which way you orient it. Neither the Ring Video Doorbell or this wedge’s wall mounting brackets have this necessary hole. You will either have to create your own in the QIBOX wedge’s mounting bracket as above or do what I did, which was to strategically place the wedge mounting bracket over the solar panel mounting bracket and put the same two wall screws through both brackets predrilled holes and into the wall. I did it this way instead of making my own hole in the QIBOX wedge mounting bracket because I thought the precut hole on the solar panel mounting bracket (which is visible when standing at the door) would be neater and also because I hoped it would be more precise to prevent any water collection inside the box during rain.With these modifications which are pretty simple to do, this does the job.(For clarity, the solar panel plug dangling in the photos is wrapped with electrical tape here so it can not be seen. It has a rectangular shape which is why the need for the newly-cut hole. I had wrapped the dangling cord overnight to protect it from dew as it got too dark to complete the job when I realized I needed to work out a solution to this problem. I hope this helps someone!)

Didn’t work
I had my contractor install this. Never could get it to ring inside. Payed an electrician to check it out. Was told I needed a stronger transformer. Which I had installed, then told I needed a different inside doorbell, which I had installed. End the end I had it removed because I never was able to get it to work. Yes I could get videos on my phone but that didn’t help when someone tried to ring the doorbell. It would ring outside the door but never inside the house. A very very large waste of money and time. I spent a lot trying to get this to work and customer service was no help at all. I couldn’t even get my money back. Extremely disappointed.

Unit was easy to figure out and install. Plenty of screws available etc.

Amazing product with decent quality plastic. Works with many different models on Ring/Blink doorbells as listed under product details. The reason I did not give 5 starts is because they could’ve provided the second screw for the tilt mechanism to secure it from both top and bottom. Other than that no complaints!
