Small cats or kittens only thanks to deceptive dimensions
If you’ve ever put together a cat tree, you know it’s generally pretty easy, you just screw the post into the platform. I wouldn’t call this one difficult by any means, but it is a little more challenging than most because you’re putting several components together by feel since you won’t be able to see where the bolt goes in. One of the holes in mine was drilled at such a steep angle that when I put the bolt in, it would not go into the post. I had to use my drill to re-drill out the hole so that the bolt could go into the post, but now that I’ve got it assembled, that one post is a bit wobbly. The instructions are mostly fine. There was one section that named the wrong part, but it’s not hard to figure out what they mean. They give you an allen wrench with a screwdriver tip that you can use to put it all together.I got the green one and the green fabric is so thin, I just don’t think it will last very long. As for the “deceptive dimensions” I mentioned, well, the flower platforms are only actually 12″ in diameter. They list the dimensions as 15.7″, but that’s the edge of the flower petal to the edge of the opposite flower petal, and the flower petals hang off the sides of the platform quite a bit. There is no way my cats could comfortably lounge on this. The flowers also go onto the platform kind of like a stool cushion. There’s an elastic cord and you fit the flower cushion over the top of the wood platform. That cord barely fit around my platform. I really had to work it to get it to fit. Additionally, that white flower fabric is the same as the green stuff, and like I said, it’s so thin I don’t see it lasting. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong, but I won’t know because my cats can’t fit on this anyway.I will say that it seems to be pretty sturdy except for my one post (it’s one inside the hidey hole, so not one of the main flower posts) that’s wobbly due to that issue I mentioned earlier. The oval shape helps with that quite a bit. The flower cushions are also fairly cushy. I just don’t see the value in this one. There are better trees out there for less.

MehâScratching Posts Are Good, Everything Else Is Just Okay
I was really hoping this flower cat tree would add some flair to my living space, especially for the holidays, but itâs pretty underwhelming. The scratching posts are the highlightâtheyâre sturdy and keep my catâs claws busy, which I appreciate. Aside from that, the perches and condo feel smaller than expected, and the overall construction just doesnât scream âquality.âThe fluffy balls are more decorative than engaging, and my cat loses interest quickly. This isnât a terrible cat treeâitâs fine if youâre on a budget and need something basicâbut donât expect anything more than a mediocre piece of cat furniture. The scratching posts are the only thing preventing me from giving it a lower rating.

For small cats and kittens
This flower cat tree is so adorable, itâs quickly become one of my favorites among the several I have for my cats. Assembling it was easy, and it looks like a cute little flower sculpture in my living room. The retro shade of green carpet on the base adds a charming touch.I was really impressed with the quality; there were no loose fibers or dust around, which indicates itâs well-made, but the platforms had slightly jagged edges that I had to sand down before putting the cushion covers on. Those could use a better finish. I’m very picky about how products are sanded so I can avoid the possibility of splinters where my cats will be sitting or sleeping.One of the features I appreciate is that the platforms donât have bolts sticking through the top, and the posts come with washers at the base for extra support. After putting together a few of these, I can really notice how much more stable this one feels. Although it’s not big enough for any of them to sleep on, it’s a perfect window perch, and my smallest cat at 7.5lbs was able to lay on it.I highly recommend it for small cats and kittens.

My little cat baby loves this!
Well the best thing about this scratching post is that my cat loves it and uses it a lot. She’s 14 and can be very picky about toys and scratchers so I was happy she loves this one. She does not go inside it at all, and doesn’t really sit on the flowers, but she scratches on it all the tine. The second best thing about this is how adorable it looks in my house. I just love that it looks like flowers, because some of these cat scratching posts are so ugly! The third best thing about it is how quick and easy it was to put together. The whole thing took under ten minutes.
