It does the job well
I think my favorite part of this is that I can turn off the ports I’m not using. This has more than enough of each type of port I needed, and the always on port on the end of it is kind of a bonus but also kind of in the way if you are trying to mount this in the corner of a desk.

great product – easy to install – looks well built
Very nice product – looks nice, is well made, and has individual port on/off buttons which means that you don’t have to unplug and replug the device cable when needed.I am using this product to connect several USB devices (Bluray burner, scanner, label printer, mailing label printer) that all sit on my desk to my workstation computer which sits on the floor. By using the Hub, I only have to run one long cable from the Hub to the workstation. I then have short USB cables to the 4 devices.I purchased this Hub for future-proofing since it supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) devices as well as from the Hub to the workstation. I connected the Hub to a PCIe 2-port USB C 3.1 Gen 2 card. I did have to upgrade the driver for the PCIe card, but that’s not really surprising since I purchased the PCIe card several years ago.I really like that the Hub has 3 USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) ports, 4 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (aka USB 3.0, 5 Gbps) ports, and 3 charging ports.The web page does not describe the data rate for the Host port, but I verified with support that the Host Port transfers at USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) speeds assuming that you connect a device that supports that speed.Just in case it’s not obvious, you should only use the 3 USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports with devices that support the 10 Gbps speed — mostly newer external hard drives.

My old hub, though it was a powered hub, would periodically lose the connection with the external usb drives. This new hub here works great and keeps them connected. Has plenty of options and has modern usb 3 ports. I can also hook my iphone to it and i could not even hook up my iphone before to my pc but now i can because of the C port. This hub is perfect!

This is great, it expanded my USB and USB-C accessibility and transfers data at very good speed.Initially I connected the product to my PC through a charging port and thought it was not working properly and wrote an unsatisfactory message, I apologize for that. Works on a power outlet but not on a power strip
Something is wrong with the hub. I have a power strip with nothing connected to it, other than another USB hub. Slightly smaller, but similar. I needed to replace this old one with the new one. The new hub won’t work if I connect it to the power strip to draw power, but it does work when I connect it to the wall power outlet (or directly to my UPS), which isn’t an option for me because the power cable is too short. The power strip is standard 15amps, 1875 watts, and has worked fine for years with every device I ever connected to it. And like I said, there is only one device connected to it right now, a USB hub that I want to replace, and it is working fine. So what’s the deal ? Isn’t a power outlet … a power outlet ?

This is a long lasting product, very clean works well and does it’s job. I notice when I put more than one HD on it I have issues not sure why.

Great hub, but has flaw in my own
Works as described. Great build quality. For some reason when I tap the power button for the 3.1 port, it shut off, and now I can’t turn it on again.
