Perfect for our chihuahua
Weâve purchased two of these small bowls (with wooden stand) for our sweet girl Izzy, and the size and height are perfect for her. Izzy is only 10 pounds and not tall/leggy at all; nevertheless, her digestion seems best when she eats from a raised bowl. That knowledge is how we ended up with two of these: We noticed right away that she was more comfortable with the raised bowl, even though sheâs just a tiny chihuahua. Izzy eats a a bit over a quarter cup of kibble two times a day, and the small-size bowl is the perfect size for these servings. Sheâs an old girl, and we want her to be as comfortable and healthy as possible as she navigates her senior years. These raised dog bowls seem to help. And theyâre easy to clean, too: made of a nice heavy ceramic.

Great height
This was the perfect height to elevate the dish for my chihuahua. It comes with a ceramic white dish, but the dish I had fit so I kept using it. The wood is raw wood. I could not see any finish to it. I Coated it with some polyurethane I had and that finished it off nicely. Since itâs unfinished wood, wait for a sale.

Nice quality, but the stand doesn’t raise the bowl up much. Probably will keep it because so many single feeders have stainless steel bowls, which don’t work for dogs like mine who have vestibular issues.

Nice Stand And Bowl!
Not going to lie…I needed a stand for my faux tree by my door entry way, so that’s what I used the stand for. So far as the dog bowl, currently it’s used as a fruit or salad bowl when I’m getting work done.Granted I could have brought those things separately, but I mean folks let their dogs sit at tables and eat so I don’t see an issue with it.Here’s my thing, although I do not own a dog. I would recommend this but with letting you know that the legs on the stand needs added grip. Especially if you have wooden floors. The bowl is nice, but it is also not a perfect fit. What I mean by that is; if your dog is eating or drinking out of it not only will the stand slide across your floor but the bowl would also move. If you look at the advertised photo you could see the small gap I’m speaking of. I understand the concept of having enough room that it isn’t stuck but it could be a bit better. It’s slightly flimsy but it works.
