I don’t dislike the product I like the product and I would recommend it though a little pricey It’s great if you want to get off of caffeine but you still like the coffee flavor It gets you through the first part of your morning fades away slowly about lunch time That’s just one serving . I put a spoonful in with my coffee and my creamer It’s not bitter It tastes like coffee if you drink it alone I would suggest a little more than one little spoonful but it’s good product It has health benefits but I’m not making any medical statements about it You would have to try for yourself It smells like coffee no jitters like coffee and I made it through three people having the flu and cold around me and I did not get sick and I was right in the same room with them the whole time so I’d say it helps the immune system. It acts like the b vitamins it’s calming so I would say it’s effective.

Not as good as I expected
After trying 3 or 4 other mushroom coffees the reviews on this made me want to switch from what I had finally settled on due to benefits and price. However, after making this several times now, I just don’t enjoy the flavor. One of the selling factors for me was that it was supposed to have a great coffee taste. But it doesn’t. It has very little taste. And while that may be good for some people who don’t like coffee and just want the benefits of the mushrooms, it’s not a selling point for me. While sitting here trying to drink my morning cup, I had to stop and write this review. I’m not usually a complainer but I just don’t enjoy this. And it has some kind of weird effect on me that gives me a bizarre lingering aftertaste. It may be completely me, but others may have experienced it as well. Anyway, I’ve stopped my subscribe & save for the Wixar brand and gone back to my previous brand. But I’ll still be on the lookout for the ultimate ‘shroom coffee.
