Take my money! I have shared the news about this carpet rake to anyone I know that enjoys the experience of shaming themselves over the surprising amount of unseen yuck that is trapped in their own carpet. It is easy to assemble and use. It works alarmingly well at removing pet hair from rugs in particular, but also works nicely on carpeting. It does so well that you’ll wonder why you ever wasted your time with a vacuum as it clearly was not lifting any of the pet hair that this rake does! I used this before deep cleaning our high traffic area rugs and they got SO much cleaner since the shampooer didn’t have to break through a force field of pet hair first to get to the fibers. Buy it! You’ll carry it to every room in your house looking for an opportunity to use it just to see how much who-knows-what (hair, fuzz, dust, etc.) you can pull off of your carpeted areas. It is almost an ASMR level of bewilderment/satisfaction to see how much cleaner your flooring can be without all of the pet hair that you didn’t even know was there!

Works well
I have two cats that shed seasonally, Spring, Fall, all holidays, all birthdays. I suspect you understand what I am saying.Pros- I got this one because of the long handle. I have a short one that I use in the car. Short strokes with moderate pressure pulls the fur/hair out of the carpet well. It also pulls up any litter the cats have carried to the carpet and anything else that is there. Pick up is easy, however there is always a little bit that is best picked up with a vacuum.Cons- the plug at the top of the handle come lose easily. This won’t be a problem if you don’t hang on the wall or if you spot a little glue on the plug.Overall I am pretty happy with this. I only dinged it because the end cap came off once. If you have an unused broomstick you might try it as this stick, while long enough, is not as long as a broom stick, you still have to bend over a little. It is effective on the carpet in my car, too. If you have an SUV this is really good at cleaning the cargo area, not just for animal fur.

I have an aussie shepherd, so LOADS of hair, and this does MAGIC!! i am constantly running my vacuum in my room to pick up the hair, but nothing i have tried has ever worked like this!! definitely a must!!!!! it’s so satisfying to use too!

This is a great product. Works so well on my area rugs and carpet. I have a Labrador that loves to play and roll on the rugs rubbing in her fur. I use it first and then vacuum. There is very little fur left in the vacuum canister. The handle is sturdy and a good length.

The only con is how shamelessly it shows you that your carpets are gross.I’m sure it works amazing on pet hair but in my case it was for my own hair.I’m 7 months postpartum with a child starting to crawl.We recently had our carpets professionally cleaned and we have a high end pet pro vaccume we use every few days and yet ever time my kiddo crawls on the floor she’s got so much hair in her hands.I bought this to help get the stuck hair out of the carpet and it trully delivered.As far as construction goes it’s all solid metal and is easily gonna last a long time. It feels very sturdy using it and went together very easily. You don’t need to press hard to get a result and while the blade isn’t overly big, it’s light weight and makes quick work of a large room.It works soo well. I was disgusted with how much hair came up even after vacuuming first.I found that not only does it remove hair but also brushed up carpet that’s gone flat in high traffic areas ( our house is only 2 hrs old)A bonus is that I found the carpets came a lot cleaner vacuuming after brushing.If you are thinking about getting one, know that it’s hands down worth every penny and you will own this thing for years to come

There isn’t much to say about this. It’s a carpet rake to pull fur out of your carpets. It works extremely well, takes minimal effort, and is overall extremely satisfying to use.My only gripe with this is that the included handle feels a “bit” flimsy, like it’s going to snap. This is simply because the handle is shipped in pieces to save on shipping/packaging. Totally understandable.I’ve only used this once so far, and it’s held up. In reality, it’s the head of the rake which I bough, which also fits on any standard broom handle which you can get at any Dollarama, Dollar Tree, or just about any other dollar store for a couple of bucks, in the event that the included one does not last.The head of this rake is quite solidly built, and should last for quite a while. Do yourself a favour, and if you own pets which shed, and carpets, buy this rake. You will not regret it!5/5 stars, even despite the flimsy feeling handle (which I remind you, has held up so far…)[EDIT] – November 12, 2024.The handle is actually a fair bit stronger than originally thought. It’s held up quite well for daily use so far. The small black tip at the end of the handle continues to pop off, but this is extremely minor. In addition, it was tested using a handle from a dollar store, but the threading are NOT the same so this is not an actual option as originally suggested. This means that if the included handle fails, you may have a difficult time finding a replacement.

I’ve owned this thing for less than a day and I wanted to review and mention how awesome it is. I can’t believe the amount of hair it brings out of the carpet.Would be 5 stars if the attaching pieces were a bit more solid. I put it on an old broomstick with screw attachment and it worked better.We vacuum often and I still raked an insane amount of pet hair off the carpets and rugs. Great product!
