    I will buy again
so far so good. I changed my collagen to this one as I heard bovine is best versus mixed with other types of collagen. I did notice a difference using the other collagen and I hope to see an even bigger difference using this one. It’s been about two weeks now And my a happy customer. There is no smell to it, and it is flavorless as stated. Sometimes with these protein powders, we still get a weird smell or taste, but this isn’t the case with this one.

Might Be Better Than Our Current Choice
I’ve been taking collagen peptides daily for about two years. We ordered Vitalibre brand to see if this new product is better than my current one (Live Conscious).Vitalibre’s 16 ounce, 22 serving size product comes in a recyclable plastic tub. It costs about $27 or $1.69 per ounce. My current choice’s 7.8-ounce, 20 serving size comes in a biodegradable bag. It costs about $24 or $3.20 per ounce. Even though the Vitalibre package holds twice as much product as my current choice (16 oz vs 7.8 oz), both packages hold similar numbers of servings per container (22 vs 20 servings). There is a definite dosage difference between these two products. Vitalibre recommends two scoops of product (20 g of peptides) while my choice recommends a half scoop (11g) daily or a one full scoop (15g) for extra need. There is no explanation as to how each vendor arrived at their recommended dosages. When you compare label information on supplement facts and amino acid profiles you would expect my choice to come in with half the supplement values of Vitalibre as the dosage is only half the size, but the sodium levels in my choice are really high. If I had two full scoops of my choice, I’d be taking 110 g of sodium (nearly 3 times the amount in one dose of Vitalibre). There are slight color and texture differences between Vitalibre and my choice. Tastes are about the same. But the surprise for me was the difference in dissolving. My choice did not dissolve nearly as quickly as Vitalibre in hot or cold water and left undissolved residue in cold water. Wow! Vitalibre wins on how well it dissolves.I am not sure if I will switch brands here, but Vitalibre gives me double the amount with much less sodium for about the same price as my current collagen peptide. But I do need to dig more deeply into how much I should be taking daily before I use Vitalibre recommended dosage.

    Quality Collagen But Small Container
This hydrolyzed bovine collagen powder offers good quality with third-party testing and GMP manufacturing certification. The powder is truly unflavored and dissolves easily in both hot and cold beverages without affecting taste – I’ve tested it in coffee, water, and protein shakes. At 20g per serving (2 scoops), the collagen content is substantial. However, the 8oz container only provides 11 servings, which is the main drawback. At $1.75 per ounce, it’s pricier than some alternatives that offer more servings per container.Pros:Made in USA with grass-fed bovine collagenTypes I & III collagen for joint and skin healthDissolves completely with no tasteGood manufacturing practices (GMP) certifiedThird-party testedCons:Only 11 servings per containerHigher cost per serving than some competitorsRecommended 2-scoop serving size uses product quicklyWhile the quality is there, consider whether the limited quantity works for your needs and budget. Good for trying collagen supplementation, but might not be the most economical choice for daily, long-term use.

    good product
The container does not include an ingredient list, which I had hoped for. I assume there is only one ingredient: bovine collagen from grass fed cows, but it would be nice to have some reassurance of that on the bucket, itself. I appreciate that the collagen is produced in a GMP compliant facility in New York, and that they include their web and email address on the collagen bucket. I also appreciate that they give an amino acid profile breakdown on the bucket. The product page tells us that we are getting type I and type III collagen, though I wish it specified how much of each type. Type I collagen provides structure to the body’s skin, bones, and connective tissues. This type makes up about 90% of the body’s collagen. Type III collagen helps with blood clotting and wound healing.I’ve found that it’s easiest to dissolve fine powders by pouring the scoop of the collagen peptides into your glass first and then pouring in liquid over the top, to kick up the powder and help it spread. This collagen leaves no texture or flavor changes to the drink, so I am very glad to have this collagen.

Dissolves well. Good amount of protein per serving.
I have been mixing this bovine collagen powder in a blender with 8 ounces of cold coffee, some cream and ice for an afternoon keto treat. It dissolves well and doesn’t leave any grit behind at the bottom of my cup. Mixed with the coffee, I don’t notice the flavor of the collagen at all. (I also notice very little flavor when I try it with just water.) So far, I am really enjoying this product as it’s an easy way to sneak a bit more protein into my day while “disguising it” as a coffee treat.I also like that this product is lab tested. I feel that this adds value to the product because I can trust a bit more that the nutrition claimed on the label is actually in the product. Compared to other collagen products that I have tried, this also offers a competitive value. I would order this again.

Good for Skin, Hair, Nails, Bones, Joints
Collagen is good for Skin, Hair, Nails, Bones, Joints and more. My elderly mother has been taking collagen for years and urged us to do the same, especially because my spouse has Psoriasis. She takes it daily and I do too when I remember. This is about the same as our normal brand. No complaints with packaging, smell, taste, etc. It does say you can add it to hot or cold. I tried adding it to a rum & coke out of curiosity. Don’t do that. It gets sticky, gummy and taste weird. It works best in hot coffee. You won’t even know it’s in there if you are not the one adding it. Yes, I will buy more…
