These work great and save energy
I have a lamppost in my drive that had a 100w incandescent bulb in it for years. The lamp also has a light sensor that would work in most conditions. The problem was that when the sun past over the house (around 2:30 PM) the sensor would think it was too dark and the bulb would come on. Because of this the incandescent bulbs would only last around 6 months. After replacing the incandescent with this LED bulb with its own built in sensor, the light now only comes on at sundown. It is also only around 11watts compared to the 100 watt incandescent bulb resulting in electricity savings all year. I cannot attest to longevity yet as these have only been burning for about two months. All in all I am very happy with this purchase. I bought the 4 pack of warmest bulbs, 100 watt equivalents.

This picture does NO justice. These lights are very bright, very bright. You turn your light switch on and you never have to worry about touching your lights in the morningâ¦. They turn on at dusk by themselves and they shut off at dawn by themselves. Perfect! I highly recommend!

UPDATE – Had an issue with 1 pack of bulbs and seller took care of the problem right away.Great customer service !!Just received a 4 pack and NONE of these bulbs work ??There is no photo cell, so how could they work ??I toggled the power on/off, still nothing.I don’t get it, did they send me the wrong bulbs ??It is pitch black outside and the only bulbs that work are my old ones.WTH ??

Smart light bulbs – no need for expensive sensors in lamp posts, etc.
These light bulbs are fabulous. They turn on at dusk and turn themselves off at dawn. As they are LED, they are very inexpensive to use in any outdoor fixture. The lamp posts (already at the house when I purchased), had sensors in the posts. Every five years or so, they needed to be replaced. Not only were they expensive, but they required an electrician or someone savvy with wiring. These bulbs just screw into the lamp and wallah, they turn themselves on and off at the correct times of day. Of course, the electricity to the lamp must be left to experience this delightful feature. My electric bill last month was $51 for my entire house, so they really don’t draw much electricity. So nice when I return at night and back into my driveway!

I left a one-star review because the first bulb I used burnt out in less than 3 months. However, due to this review, the company contacted me and gave me a new replacement order. This shows they are very good at customer support! And I’ve upped my rating to 4-stars because – the bulbs do work as promised (on/off at night/day) and I’m assuming that since they replaced my order, that they do expect their producct to work well.Bulb burnt out in less than 3 months! Works as far as turning on and off with the light. But I installed my first bulb on 1/13/24. It burnt out on 4/4/24. That’s a little less than 3 months! These will be really expensive if they have to be replaced this often. And I don’t even keep the power turned on all day. I turn it on in the evening and off in the morning. And it still failed so quickly. Can not recommend.
