Beautiful design, Apple build quality, & TouchID! Expensive but worth the $$$.
Likes:Beautiful Design: The Magic Keyboard has a sleek, minimalist design that complements my Apple devices perfectly. It looks great on my desk and adds a touch of elegance to my workspace.Excellent Quality: The build quality is outstanding, as expected from Apple. The keyboard feels durable and well-constructed.Key Travel and Feel: The key travel and tactile feedback are just right. Typing on this keyboard is a pleasure, with just the right amount of click sound.TouchID: I came from the Satechi X3 Slim, which was much cheaper and almost as good in many areas. However, the TouchID on the Magic Keyboard is worth the upgrade. Itâs a huge difference compared to having to reach over and use the MacBookâs keyboard when itâs docked. The convenience of quickly unlocking my Mac and authorizing payments with a touch is invaluable.Dislikes:Lack of Risers: I wish it had risers to lift the front of the keyboard just a bit. This would improve the typing angle and overall comfort.Price: The keyboard is expensive. While it offers excellent features and quality, the cost may be a consideration for some.Others have praised the Magic Keyboard for its easy connectivity, battery life, and overall performance. The TouchID feature is frequently highlighted as a significant advantage, especially for those using their Mac in clamshell mode. Some are upset about no backlighting and lightning cord charging. I concur with them on all accounts, but ultimately the pros outweigh the cons. It’s the best keyboard choice for Mac. If you don’t mind the budget, you won’t regret getting one.

The best keyboard for macbooks.
The Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is a must-have for any Mac user with Apple Silicon! The sleek black keys give it a premium look, and the typing experience is incredibly smooth and comfortable. The built-in Touch ID is a game-changerâit makes logging in and making secure purchases so much faster and easier. Itâs also compact and wireless, which keeps my workspace clean and clutter-free. Overall, this keyboard combines style, functionality, and convenience perfectly. If youâre looking to upgrade your setup, this is absolutely worth it!

AMAZING VALUE
First of all the battery lasts incredibly long. Like weeks. Itâs actually fun to type on this keyboard, I feel like a typing ninja. I already type really fast but this keyboard makes it seamless and so comfortable. Definitely a better value than a Mac keyboard that costs $200. my dad got one recently and he likes my keyboard better.

Sleek Design Meets Seamless Functionality
Iâm all about a clutter-free desk, and this keyboard fits right in. The wireless setup was a breeze, and the Bluetooth connection never skips a beat. Having Touch ID built in is a total winâlogging in with just a finger tap feels so natural. Plus, the numeric keypad is a bonus for crunching numbers. Itâs got that classic Apple designâsleek, minimal, and super functional.

Issue with Touch idea and function keys
Just an FYI, like some of the other reviews when I paired this keyboard with my Apple M1 Max MB Pro the function (special) keys were not working properly even after confirming the “Use F1, F2 etc as standard function keys” was not selected. Realized I was running Sonoma (computer had not auto-updated for some reason) and not Sequoia. The upgrade to Sequoia resolved all issues and the keyboard works flawlessly including touch id and special function keys.

Exceptional Keyboard with Touch ID
The Apple Magic Keyboard is fantastic! The typing experience is smooth and responsive, with just the right amount of key travel. The addition of Touch ID is a game-changerâlogging in and making purchases with a fingerprint is so convenient. I also love having the numeric keypad, which makes it ideal for spreadsheets and data entry. The battery life is impressive; I only need to recharge it every few weeks, even with daily use. It connects easily over Bluetooth without any lag, keeping my workspace cable-free. If youâre an Apple user looking for a premium, efficient keyboard, this oneâs a perfect choice.Pros: Touch ID for secure logins and purchases Comfortable typing experience with responsive keys Numeric keypad, great for productivity Long-lasting battery life Wireless Bluetooth connectivity for a clutter-free workspaceCons: Higher price compared to other keyboards Only fully compatible with macOS

BEST KEYBOARD EVER! SILENT, SLEEK & FAST!
As a long-time Apple user who also has purchased tech/computer products from other brands, I always come back to Apple for their highest quality & efficient products. It is expensive but so worth the money. I had bought a cheaper typewriter USB keyboard and one of the letter stickers came off after a few months. I also was getting tired of the loud typewriter sound (yes, I go through phases on what I like/dislike). I currently use a Mac Mini Studio (as well as an iPhone and iPad) and this keyboard works perfectly!

Happy I purchased with Touch ID!
Was skeptical considering apple products are so much more expensive (and I find their wireless mouse very disappointing and need replaced frequently) but glad I bought (so far). I was already upgrading from a wired to a wireless keyboard and took a chance with the Touch ID option. Easy set up, working great with my new Mac Studio. In the end I realized I had my previous Apple corded keyboard for 8 years which was a well worth the money so hopefully this will deliver the same value. My only criticism is how thin it is – for typing/ hand position but I assume most like it thin..Also, my coworker first purchased an off brand wireless keyboard for his Mac and was not happy so they returned it for the same keyboard.

Love the touch-id button, no more entering passwords when my mac is locked.

This product works well and I am happy with it. It has a very low profile/footprint, so even with the numeric pad it does not take up too much room. If you think you will use the numeric pad don’t be shy about buying it. The keyboard still looks great even though its wider, and really doesn’t feel like it takes up much room at all. The keys are very satisfying, comparable to the older MacBook pros. The battery life has been decent so far uses roughly 2-4 % per day, i leave it on at all times. Pairing with mac mini was brainlessly simple, the mac found it right away.I really love the biometric finger print lock/unlock. I am using this in conjunction with a mac mini M1 and it works great! A half second of delay to unlock does not bother me, it’s faster than typing my password.
