After having a professionally installed alarm for the past 20+ years, I was skeptical about using an alarm that is self installed. But, all alarm reviews say Simplisafe is one of the top options to buy. Even ADT is going to self install kits recently. So, I decided to roll the dice.One of my main concerns was a theif finding the base unit during the disarm delay and destroy the base unit before the alarm goes off and the notification gets sent out (Smash & Crash). I added two extra sirens and placed one indoor and the other outdoor. I hid the base station. When the alarm goes off, the base station and other sirens will be going off at the same time, making it nearly impossible to pinpoint the base station location and drawing attention to the house.The install only took an hour to install 3 motion detectors, 2 external sirens, 1 water detector, 1 smoke detector, 4 door sensors, and a glass breakage sensors. Programming mode is super intuitive and takes less than a minute to set up each device. Cleaned the surface with alcohol prior to sticking a sensor on and no issues. The app is also user friendly and useful to arm/disarm the system and check status.Been using the system for months and it has worked flawlessly with zero false alarms. Based on my experience, would highly recommend Simplisafe.

Fast, Simple Setup
I studied the product and read numerous reviews. I bought a combo package with multiple devices. It was very quick and easy to setup. After the account and base station setup, add devices one right after the other. They all connected quickly and functioned as expected. I’m awaiting additional devices to enhance the system. The camera quality is exceptional and was also easy to set up.

I ordered the 11-piece SimpliSafe home system from Amazon at a discounted limited time pricing. Better pricing and quicker delivery – win/win. Simple connection and can opt for self-monitoring or several different level monthly monitoring accounts. No contract required. Self-install or can pay to have company professionally install. Iâve added water sensors, door push button entrance pad, panic button and smoke detector to system. Completely customizable.

This is a good economical choice and for the most part the system is very efficient and SimplySafe support is amazing. I use the system to secure my investment residential properties.Pros: Itâs very easy to add additional devices to expand coverage. I added additional entry sensors, external siren and camera with ease. Remote access by phone or iPad is amazing and gives you visibility to the status of each device and real time camera audio and visual of the property. Can also arm and disarm the system remotely by phone. The system notifies you by email or text (your choice) when there is a loss of power or WiFi. All devices are wireless so no drilling or installation of wires.Cons: The motion sensors go offline often and sometimes the only way to reset them is to have someone physically at the property to hit the reset button on the device. If you are remotely monitoring the device thatâs very inconvenient. Occasionally the cameras also go offline but they generally reset themselves. You will need WiFi in order to use this system, for some people that may be a problem.

Good Affordable Security System
Iâve had this security system for almost a year now since I moved into my house, and I have zero complaints. We went the SimpliSafe route for the fact that it is affordable and we know plenty of other people who use SimpliSafe and have a similar testimony. We donât use any of their cameras outside, as we had use Ring cameras for outside, but for basic home security this is a really great system.

Simplisafe Customer Service issues
Installed the system and I was happy for the most part. What I am unhappy about is Simplisafe Customer service themselves. I have a sensor that connects/disconnects intermittently and Simplisafe verified it was defective and needed to be replaced. My 30day window with Amazon had passed and Simplisafe would only replace IF I supplied them with CC information. I do not have my system monitored and was not comfortable supplying my CC. Even though they know it is defective they will not replace it unless I give them CC information. My opinion for the retail cost of a $14 sensor (probably $2 to make) they didn’t need to make it about needing my financial information. Even after politely escalating to a supervisor I was shut down and told they could not help me.My question is what ever happened to Customer Service?? For a Company to know and acknowledge they have a defective product and not be able to support it without asking for your CC information, knowing their primary business is a subscription monitoring model??Again so far everything else seems ok, but only been a month and this is how they started the relationship, and that is after spending $500 on product. Makes you question if this is where you want to spend your money??

Le doy cero estrellas El producto es chatarra , no puedo usarlo ya que la app no puede bajarse en México, me pregunto porque permiten su venta el sitio de México. Hace unos años lo compré pero la app estaba libre de bajar, lamentablemente el HUB se me averió y compré otra marca, la Wyze, ahora quiero regresar a esta marca y vaya fiasco que me lleve al no tener acceso a la app. Para colmo tengo que pagar el envÃo de la devolución.
