EDIT Aug 29 2024:All of my original comments below are still 100% true – I really love this thing. But I came back to reduce this review from five stars to four stars because I finally realized what other people are so unhappy about: while this item’s magnet is FANTASTIC at attaching the stand to the back of your phone, this item is absolutely NOT CAPABLE of magnetically attaching your phone to a vertical surface! (even though one of the pics in the amazon listing shows a phone attached to a refrigerator door while someone watches a video on the phone – nope that’s not possible with this item. 90% of its magnetic force is between the stand and the back of the phone. There is basically no magnetic attraction between the back of the stand and any piece of metal. I’m glad that this “stick your phone to a wall” feature is not something *I* care about, but I don’t blame people who are upset.ORIGINAL June 2024 review below:I have been using this since late May 2024, I bought the blue one to use with an (also blue) iphone 15pro – my goal was to find something that would “act like a popsocket” while still allowing for use of a magnetically attached wallet case.This item fits that bill perfectly:Attaching securely to my magsafe-compatible iphone case, by itself it is as an excellent adjustable stand in either portrait or landscape mode. The elastic strap is a great way to grip it when I (occasionally) need that functionality. [that strap is still fine after 2months use, but I do expect it will lose it’s elasticity someday, so I very much appreciate the extra straps included in the package]And the thinness of this metal item means that I can also attach my magsafe wallet to it without unacceptable bulk.And just as important – I notice and appreciate that this is a solid, well-constructed item. The hinge is still stiff in just the right way, the magnet is strong – in all honesty I sometimes pop this off the back of my iphone case and use it as a fidget toy!10/10 would buy again. (might actually order a spare…)

Was great, for 5 months.
This was exactly what I was after, but it didn’t last too long. Elastic cloth finger loop was better than the neoprene options. It stretches over time but that wasn’t really an issue for me, once it loosens up it’s easier to slip your finger into anyway. However, the hinge for the outer ring lost its stiffness, and is now virtually useless. It can’t hold the weight of the phone at any angle and after about 5 months of use, it just collapses. Magnet is very strong, never had any issue with it detaching other than when I would drop it from hip height, it would fall off at impact. Not a huge issue there, don’t know that you could make that much better. Just wish the hinge didn’t wear out so easily. I will probably try another comparable option to see if it lasts longer.

What a rip off
Not worth a dime the elastic falls apart it’s hard to hold my phone it falls off my apple case it’s hard to prop up without having to take the whole thing off I’ve had better for a cheaper price and last over a year this sucks and now I have to look buy a new brand from another company also very hard to hold

I love this phone grip. The elastic stays tight for a long time so I dont feel like I have to replace it every month. I also like that it is magnetic so if it is bugging me I can just take it off until I am ready to use it again
